We rent out rooms & cottages 3 km north of Sigtuna in a rural, Swedish environment from the 1750s and onwards. We have small red cottages with white knots and a big garden. We are located 15 minutes from Arlanda, 25 minutes from Uppsala and 40 minutes from Stockholm. We also have animals on the farm such as cats, dogs, bees, and chickens. There are hiking trails and forests around. The Romantic Room is a smaller apartment with two beds that you can put together. Small kitchen, shower and toilet. It has an air heat pump and underfloor heating in the kitchen.

Charming residence at Steninge Castle

Relax in this unique, rural accommodation at Steninge Castle, a 5-minute drive from Märsta and only 15 minutes from Arlanda Airport. The residence is located in the courtyard house on an idyllic 17th-century farm that was then the judge's residence. On the farm, we grow vegetables and flowers and have ducks, chickens and some beehives. At the castle, there is a beautiful park and shopping center with a restaurant. 1.5 km away is Steninge Marina with a restaurant open in the evening. Bicycles are available for our guests! Welcome!!

Located in a quiet and safe area. Close to buses to both Sigtuna city and Arlanda. Also close to Lake Mälaren and outdoor areas. It takes about 1.30 hours to go by bus and train to Stockholm. You live near the forest and water. There is a lot to do nearby. For example, there are canoes for rent, nice swimming areas, hiking trails, lots of culture, ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, plowed long-distance skating if the ice is strong. We also have several good restaurants in Sigtuna. Available for all tastes.

The loft has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower, and new furniture; one double bed (140cm) and one sofa bed (140cm). A portable cot can be arranged. The loft also has a balcony with sun all day, and a bus stop 100m away. A perfect getaway.

Distance: Sigtuna (4 km by foot/cycle path, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area, about 100 meters away. On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.
