In the heart of the village of Brunnsta you will find this peaceful and quiet accommodation. Here you can listen to LPs, play board games and relax in a private sauna. Here you live rural but still close to surrounding cities like Stockholm and Uppsala and Arlanda airport. There are public transport by bus 1 km from the property and long-distance trains and commuter trains 8 km from the property. The swimming area is 2 km away. The accommodation is primarily for 2-3 people, but an additional bed can be set up. Everyone sleeps in the same room.

There is mushroom forest, water and an associated desert island with primeval forest to explore, fishing, two bathing jetties, bikes, a rowing boat and kayaks. By car: 45 min from Arlanda and Stockholm, 10 min from commuter train and grocery store. Close to nice golf courses, Viking faculties and Icelandic horses. Sjöherrgård is an absolutely magical place to relax, enjoy the tranquility and the Swedish nature.

Beach house by Lake Mälaren

Welcome to a beach house of 32 sqm with an open floor plan and views of Lake Mälaren. There is a kitchenette with two stovetops, a combined oven/microwave and a refrigerator. In the room, there is a 140-cm bed, two sofas and a fireplace. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, shower, washing machine. Outside there is a private patio with access to a shared beach. NOTE: Blackout curtain is missing, so please bring a sleeping mask if you are sensitive to light. The house is located on a part of a larger plot in a nature reserve.

Note: The wood storage bin is located up on the hill by the owner's house. It's not always possible to rent it. *Rent stand up paddle board: SEK 400/day. NOTE: The above is only possible by arrangement!

It´s located within 20 minutes walking distance from the centre of Sigtuna.Small beach and boat dock to use within 70 m. from the cottage. Your own private bathroom with shower is not located in the cottage. it is 10 steps away in the basement of our main house. You have your own door and come and go as you like.Sheets and towel is provided.

A few meters to the lake with for swimming. 15 minutes to Arlanda Airport and 35 minutes to Stockholm City. Sigtuna is the oldest town in Sweden with lots of charming restaurants, cafés and shops.

With a great view over the lake Mälaren and the surrounding nature, our countryside house offer you peace and quiet. However, Stockholm City is only 40min away and Arlanda airport can be reached in 15min. Please be advised that the house is located in the countryside and use of a rental car is preferred. The swimming pool is open mid May-mid Sept. We ourselves live right next door and although we respect your privacy, we are always here to answer any questions you might have!
