I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

Desmond and Renee were awesome hosts again. There rental is well worth the money and has everything you'd need for a getaway or a work trip. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent two nights during the shoulder season of fall/winter. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely this place is for the price. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Their hospitality and property is not something to be missed! I will absolutely be back to enjoy the airbnb in different seasons! One thing to note is if you’re tall the shower and bed are a little tight. Not a big deal but worth a mention. 10/10 stay.

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!

The place was very clean, and looked just like the pictures. This cabin isn't on the water and you had to walk through other campsites to get to the water. I knew this though from looking at other reviews. Definitely need an 4WD especially in the winter. It was beautiful and everybody we talked to were super nice!

This cabin is in the perfect location.. private and peaceful. We had a wonderful time ice fishing on the lake right outside the cabin. The house had everything you could want and was super cozy with the fireplace. We’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely beautiful spot on the lake! The house was perfect for our extended family (grandparents, parents and children) and extremely clean. I am usually a tough critic of cleanliness of air bnbs and very nose sensitive. Besides cobwebs (outside!) the entire place was spotless and odor free! Plenty of towels for the entire family and comfy beds and linens. Honestly felt like a home away from home. We brought our boat and explored the northern quarter of the lake. The dock looked brand new. A very nice sandbar on the opposite side of the island seen from the dock- great to park and swim at. Lots of cool islands to explore nearby too. It unfortunately rained almost every day we were there so thank god the house was big enough and comfy for 6 adults and 2 kids to hang out. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful part of lake George

The home was amazing. Waterfront view. Close to the snowmobile trails . Very well appointment. All we expectedd and more. We had a minor issue with the front door lock and emailed the owner. They responded immediately and offered assistance..

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

The house was just a quick ride outside of town and very easy to find! Plenty of space for our family and we were able to enjoy a movie on the big screen downstairs! The kitchen was well stocked as well as towels and blankets so the kiddos could cuddle up near the fireplace! We will keep you on our list for future visits to Old Forge! Thank you The Russo Family!

I was here for a fall visit so could not take full advantage of the wonderful lake location but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy this location. We did have the chance to go on an afternoon kayak which was great fun and absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils as well as a few spices. We cooked a lot and I brought all ingredients and condiments I needed and I would recommend you do the same. Shop before hand as there is not a grocery store nearby. The location is right across the street from a Circle K but the house is nestled far back from the road with a garage out front so the gas station and all it's buzz were not at all noticeable. The living room was arranged awkwardly and with some tired furniture and the TV is actually in the dining room. If you were a large group trying to watch a movie or gather in the living room this would be a bit challenging. The beds were extremely comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

A true GEM in the heart of the Adirondacks! We finally have found the treasure that truly fits our needs in the Lake Placid area. We are very close-knit family with members ranging from 3 years old to 68 years young! This home has everything in order to spend quality family time together. Superb kitchen, fabulous bedrooms, ample gathering space, plenty of game/puzzles, TV, fireplace and abundance of toys for the kids. The property was superb for enjoying the winter wonderland of snow! The kids spent hours sledding down the driveway, on the path to the lake and roasting smores at the fire pit. Ross had provided snow shoes for a wonderful hike along the trail across from the house. Once we arrived, we never had to leave the property as we had everything available to spend fabulous time with our children and grandchildren. Ross was extremely helpful and responsive with snow removal and BBQ propane. We are surely planning a return visit next winter. Thank you Ross for sharing your home!

Excellent stay. Shannon's place is amazing. Spotless clean, open concept, beautiful views of the river, huge deck, peaceful and quiet. We were a party of eight adults. tons of room, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, great Wi-Fi. Highly recommended.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Gull Pond home. The view of the lake with all the beautiful fall foliage was breathtaking. The home had all the amenities we needed to cook and eat together as a family. It was one of the best experiences we've had. Overall, the stay was relaxing and peaceful. We were there during the first snowfall of the season. The fireplace made the home feel even cozier. Josh was very responsive to our messages. He communicated clearly about checking in/out. We would happily stay again and recommend other to as well!

Great location in Lake Placid and is within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and Mirror Lake. The views of the mountains are really wonderful. The house is clean and well stocked. It exceeded our expectations will definitely come back again.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

Really nice location and would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the porch. Very comfortable stay with plenty of space for our small group. Worth the adventure getting there!
