We had a wonderful family weekend at Blackbird House. Beautifully laid out house with lovely touches like fresh flowers in each bedroom. Super close to the Square but very peaceful. Lovely outdoor space to relax in too.

Great neighbourhood and location. The house was comfortable and quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Easy access to the city. Great fire for cold nights!

We travelled from Auckland to play golf in the area. The house was perfect for us: four bedrooms and old style Kiwi hospitality and generosity. Breakfast was provided as well as welcome treats. It was like visiting someone's home that you could make your own for the stay. We cooked both nights we were there (BBQ) and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living. I will recommend Twin Palms to anyone I know going to stay in the area. Comfortable, great value for money and with all amenities. Anne Marie is also a great host. Always available but unobtrusive. We communicated by messaging throughout and she was responsive and accommodating. I commend her for the pleasure and comfort she brings to travellers staying at the property but mostly for her generosity of spirit. She really wants people to enjoy their stay and does a great job ensuring they do by providing everything they could need and more. Twin Palms is a real find. Anne Marie is the wonderful host you never meet but wish you could.

This is a lovely place to stay that you feel right at home as soon as you check in. The house is fully equipped with everything that you need and more with some nice touches. The view of Kapiti Island from the balcony is majestic, a real treat for the area. Easy walk down the beach t check out the local shops for food or coffee. A delightful stay - thanks!

We had a great stay at the house. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved the selection of pottery around the living room and other artefacts. The location is most convenient, only a minutes walk to the shopping centre of the Greytown. We'd stay here again.

Beautiful location and a very very comfortable bed. Amazing view from the balcony. Some steps down to the flat but very warm welcome by Norton the cat. We really enjoyed staying there. It might be a little noisy when a plane comes in but it did not bother us. We have been out during the day and the flights stop in the evening. Also earplugs provided. We would happily stay again. Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

The house was tidy, very well appointed, clean and gorgeous. The deck is huge and the proximity to the wineries and the square was perfect.

A wonderful place, with stunning views and real peacefulness while being close to vineyards, restaurants and (important with a two year old) playgrounds. The hosts could not have been more helpful - thank you.

We always stay here when we come to Martinborough and Greytown. It's the perfect location and we feel very comfortable. The bedding is pristine and the decor is pleasing to the eye. This was our second time staying here, and we hope there will be a third! I stayed here with my bridesmaids to get ready for our big day, and the home had everything we needed for relaxing. The spa was excellent and we loved the gas fires too.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Right from the start we had good communications and a friendly welcome. Beautiful position and views and quiet and tranquil. Was a restful and peaceful 4 days. We were welcomed by Donna as we drove up to the house and she walked us to our rooms and explained everything to us showing us around the flat. There was fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolates and fruit from the garden. Dean was friendly and helpful, and we had several long conversations over the weekend about the property and the Kapiti Coast in general. The purpose of our stay was to relax but also visit the area with a view to moving to the Kapiti area, all our expectations were fulfilled, friendly people, lovely beaches and scenery and great weather. I only spent one night here however could quite easily have stayed longer. The unit was very clean and tidy and even included breakfast for the price. There was yoghurt, fruit in containers, cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, bread, fruit juice, biscuits, chocolates and an array of teas and coffees. The bed was comfortable. Good shower. Automatic light in hall which comes on should you need to get up in the night. The unit was described and pictured as in the listing. I have no hesitation in recommending Mary and Ross’ place and would certainly stay here again should the need arise.

What a wonderful, peaceful country home away from home. Belinda and family were so responsive and generous with farm/animal experiences for the kids. Tiny house is very comfortable and adaptable. Featherston around the corner with cozy places to eat and peruse.

We had a great stay at Rochelle’s it’s so peaceful & quiet but handy to shops & trains. Very comfortable & amazing views

Great place to stay if you need a place for a few days in Upper Hutt. I would stay again and also recommend to others. It was great that it was dog friendly as well, our mini schnauzer also enjoyed our stay.

Great unique stay for me and my dog, we loved it and would have stayed longer! Carolann was lovely and as I was arriving later had it all set up for me to be nice and warm! Comfortable bed and great space. We loved it.
