Vacation rentals in Uonuma

This time, due to heavy snowfall, the train was canceled, and all of my planned transportation options were no longer available.I had to cancel, but Yuhei kept in touch with us and suggested some solutions.And in the end, he drove me to the ski resort a few kilometers away! In addition, they drove me to the supermarket, introduced my family the next day, and guided me to the hot springs the next day! On the way home, my friend and I drove us to the station, and we were able to safely go to our next destination. We had a really good time during our stay and received a lot of warmth.Thank you so much, Yuhei!I look forward to seeing you again! Luke was a great host- he really went above and beyond for us! The house was just as advertised as well as being clean and spacious. Location is great- close to the slopes, onsens, and downtown. Can’t wait to visit again!

From Jiezl and Brandon - Rich and Maiky were the perfect hosts. Their hospitality was absolutely amazing. We have always gone to nozawa onsen for skiing, but staying with Rich and Maiky, we were able to explore other mountains. Unfortunately we were sick during our stay and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and able to get better. They even helped us book doctors appointments. They were genuinely really nice people and very easy to get along with. The house is quaint and homely. Waking up to picturesque views everyday was incredible .We will definitely come back and make it part of our regular visits. We are excited not only to come back in better health, but also to come back and show our families this little gem in Iiyama. We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much Rich and Maika for everything.

The resort is located right in front of lake Chuzenji. The scenery from the room is amazing especially in the morning. There are also deers roaming around the resort if you’re lucky enough to see them. The location is also near trekking path around the lake. It’s also a short drive to Yunoko lake area. We also had bonfire and the resort manager, Junya, helped us set it up. He was willing to share many things about the Nikko region. The dinner and breakfast were great. They serve fusion dishes for dinner and traditional Japanese meal for breakfast. The portion is generous and they use quality ingredients. Very worth the money. Will definitely come back if we visit Japan again.

It was very helpful that they prepared all the charcoal and fire in the afternoon. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the view from the window was even better than the photos. The surroundings were quiet and we had a very comfortable time.

The place is very nice inside and located in a peaceful area. It's clean and has a cozy living room and dining space. A bit hard to find though. The directions to find the house (since it's not in navigation or google maps) could be improved with higher quality and more photos. It takes about 45 mins to get to the Karuizawa area and requires driving through winding mountain roads. If the weather is great, no problem! We had rainy and foggy weather so we weren't able to make use of the outdoor space and the drive into Karuizawa took a bit longer due to the driving conditions.
