Vacation rentals in Uda Walawe Reservoir

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort um den Udawalawe Nationalpark zu besuchen. Der Gastgeber hat uns im Vorraus bereits die Preise für die Safari mitgeteilt und uns über den Taxiservice informiert. Das hat vieles für uns erleichtert. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit freundlichem Personal und schöner Umgebung.

Ein außergewöhnlich engagierter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist beeindruckend und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Besitzer setzt alles daran, dass sich seine Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. War Alles in Einem eine perfekte Unterkunft.

Tiron und die Unterkunft waren ein absoluter Traum! Wir haben uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt, die Unterkunft war sauber , ruhig und die perfekte Pause nach Ella. Es wurde auf unsere Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten eingegangen und vegane Optionen wurden für jede super leckere Mahlzeit möglich gemacht. Auch für die Safari hat uns Tiron mit einem total netten und lustigen Fahrer verbunden, der uns eine großartige Tour ermöglicht hat. Wir waren rundum glücklich und würden es jedem empfehlen hier einzukehren.

We had the best time in Ajith's amazing treehouse, which is built in and around a giant Mango tree. The treehouse itself is marvel and absolutely beautifully crafted. It feels spacious, yet cosy inside and we wanted for nothing. We loved spending time out on the deck watching beautiful birds and playful squirrels jumping through the trees and feasting on fruit that Ajith leaves for them. The property as a whole is beautiful and full of wonderful fruit and spice trees. Ajith is also a talented and passionate gardener and we had several conversations about about our shared love of gardening and botany. Ajith was a kind and friendly host, as was another gentleman who was always present to provide us with anything we needed or provide us with tips and advice for activities. They were so considerate, bringing mosquito coils or tea up into the treehouse for us. Also, the food we had for breakfast and dinner was exceptional, the best we have had in our two weeks in Sri Lanka. We fell in love.

Miejsce w świetnym klimacie. Domki fajnie urządzone. Bardzo miła obsługa na miejscu, pyszne jedzenie. Myślałem tylko, że będzie to w bardziej dzikim miejscu. Trekking nie miał 1,5km tylko 900m ale to bez większego znaczenia. Bardzo polecam to miejsce.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations! Staying here is a gem of a find, because Sanath is clearly a well respected man locally who has extensive knowledge of elephants and the surrounding area. The hospitality was unmatched and the food served my Sanath & family was delicious. In addition, we loved hearing his stories of time spent working in the national park. We wish Sanath and family all the best for their future plans and wholly recommend staying here for a safari adventure.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly

We had a great stay here whilst doing a safari tour. The apartment was clean and comfortable and Hasith was extremely accommodating with food and breakfast considerations. Even making us a fruit platter to take out on our safari with a different tour operator. Lounging on the netting was a great spot to sit for an evening read whilst listening to the wildlife. The bathroom was also great, with the waterfall shower in the open top space giving it a good atmosphere. Would recommend staying here for sure

A beautiful stay! Isuru went above and beyond, organised transport to the Airbnb and out + safari, with the best driver ever! Close to safari, we also visited the elephant orphanage in the afternoon where he drove us to. Room was better than photos, so private, peaceful, lots of beautiful animals around! Had wines and played cards on the balcony whilst eating some amazing food cooked by his amazing wife! Would recommend this place! Amazing brekkie also. Thank you again!
