Farmstay vacation rentals in Tweed Shire Council

Our 2nd stay at the glorious Beaumont high country homestead and this mini break was just as good, if not better than we remembered. The homestead is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Chinghee Creek has to offer - rolling hills, friendly cattle, peace and quiet, and quality family time at its best. Our kids (10 & 13) spent their days exploring and battling each other at table tennis, and we all enjoyed reading, baking, and board games. Our hosts Claire and Rod were incredibly helpful and generous during our stay, inviting us to view some recently born calves at Christmas Creek. A five star rating doesn't seem enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful bungalow. It was so peaceful and had everything that we needed. The communication regarding our late check-in made it easy to find and Susan was kind enough to have the accommodation ready for us when we arrived in the dark, which was a lovely way to begin our stay. We're very much looking forward to visiting again.

Catherine was an amazing host and went out of her way to make us very comfortable at the property. It is so peaceful and amazing there. So many animals to see and so relaxing. The house is even better in person. We loved it that much we have already booked two more stays there.

Laurie's space was very clean, spacious and had great amenities. The bed was very comfortable and nice linen and towels were provided. Laurie was very thoughtful and ensured our check in/out was very smooth. Finally, there were a few small touches (providing some bread, tea, chocolate etc) which made us feel very welcome and took the stress of going to the shops. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away at Mt Tamborine!

What a wonderful cottage. We came for the Byron Bay Blues festival and the location was perfect. 5 mins walk to the charming town. The cottage itself has everything you need… and being a wine glass snob I was happy with the wine glasses! Loved the little extras for breakfast too. A good kitchen to cook your own meals too. In the summer it would be even better with the private swimming pool. Bed was comfy too!

What a beautiful place to stay. Sue was responsive and incredibly helpful and it was lovely to meet her and the family on our ride (we got to tag along the muster) The property is really well set out to accommodate horses and dogs for your holiday. On Sue‘s recommendation, we took a nice ride down to the river and stopped for morning tea. The home is comfortable with beautiful views down to the Albert River and over the valley. Highly recommended staying here !

Farm Stay Review: Magpie Creek Farm Stay We spent three wonderful nights at Magpie Creek Farm Stay and it was the perfect country escape for our young family (and our dog!). The accommodation—a charming house converted into a cozy unit—had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our days were filled with simple joys: feeding the horses, collecting fresh eggs, and chatting with the lovely hosts, Steve and Jenny. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. The farm itself is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by creeks, walking trails, waterfalls, and even some great local pubs. It was peaceful and relaxing, with just the right amount of adventure to keep the kids entertained. We absolutely recommend Magpie Creek Farm Stay to other families looking for a fun and tranquil getaway in nature.

Fionas cottage was lovely. It is in beautiful Coorabell on a working farm with lovely views. The cottage was compfortable and had all we needed. It is so quiet and restful! Cockatoo One is accessible and doesnt have a shower screen so the bathroom did get a bit wet and beacuse it was raining, didnt dry well but that is a small matter. Maybe cottage 4 for our next stay!

Kim was the best host and so welcoming. My partner and I stayed for a week and felt right at home. The barn was so clean, well equipped, gorgeous and very peaceful. Kim was lovely enough to leave us fresh flowers from the garden and respond to any questions. Absolutely recommend🌻

Firefly was even better than we thought it was going to be. Complete privacy, awesome accommodations and everything we needed for a peaceful getaway and Wayne & Jodie were lovely hosts. We will definitely return.

One of the best equipped airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at - everything is thought of for guests with easy checkin and heaps of privacy (except from the cows!). The yard was great for our two cavoodles! Thanks Libby

Stuart was very responsive and the views from his property were stunning. Most of our trip the weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get the chance to look around. Great location for day trips and our dogs loved being on a farm.

This place was just beautiful quiet and we fell in love with the cows. It was just what we needed and it was only 10 mins to Lennox head. Lennox head was also a lovely change the staff in every location where so friendly and accomodating. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone.

Awesome place to stay with fantastic hosts

We had a fantastic stay at Jess’ beautiful property — truly a perfect getaway for families with kids! The property is peaceful, and incredibly spacious, giving the children plenty of room to run around and explore safely. There were so many activities to keep them entertained — from the outdoor pool to exploring nature and the fire pit was the biggest hit — it was hard to get them to come inside! The location is also perfect with only a 20min drive to Hosanna farm and 30 min drive to Coolangatta and the beaches. The house itself felt like a home away from home; fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From a well-stocked kitchen to cozy bedrooms. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had a question, and made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a family-friendly rural escape.

Everything was amazing however we just found it would’ve been nice to have just a few of the staples, salt, pepper, coffee pods as the machine was provided just no pods. Oh also no cloths or spray and wipe or no vacuum either. But otherwise we loved the place and would definitely book again!

This was truly one of my favourite home away from homes. Our hosts were wonderful from arrival to departure. Ensuring we made our way onto the property in the cover of darkness and drizzling rain, and going out of their way to extend our stay an extra day. Everything we needed to enjoy a weekend escape was available and comfortably work from for our final few days. Lots to see and do nearby but also a great place to untether from it all. Missing your chicks already and hope to return to witness those Olive speckled eggs one day 🤗

Had a fantastic family Easter break in Palmvale. Kids loved the property, all the space and their Easter egg hunt on the farm!

We had a lovely stay over a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed Trish and Marty’s Airbnb. The house was so unique and beautiful with a really home like feel. There was something there for everyone, hot tub, ice bath, sauna, gym equipment and even fresh eggs from their gorgeous chickens! With only a 10 min drive to the beach it’s the best of both worlds. Trish was so easy to communicate with and really went the extra mile to make sure our trip was perfect. This is definitely a great place for you and a group of friends to get away!

What an incredible property! It far exceeded our expectations and is so much better than the photos depicted. The pool/spa/sauna area was phenomenal. No cost has been spared or small detail overlooked in the construction of this property. It had every amenity, cooking equipment/utensils that you would ever need - we loved all hanging out in the kitchen and cooking together. Super lovely and helpful hosts. We found the property easy to find and get to. This place would be absolutely amazing in the cooler weather. We did find it quite difficult to sleep in the middle of the summer heat, however. Fans in the bedrooms would be a much needed addition - but that’s literally the only thing we could fault, everything else was incredible and we’d love to return!

If you’re looking for a place to escape the city away from people but close to the beach, this is the spot. Stunning acreage, so serene. We sat under a shady tree with a picnic blanket, speaker, drinks and nibbles while our dog roamed freely in front of us. A perfect way to relax.

We HIGHLY recommend this fabulous home. Stunning setting and charming owners and caretakers. Heavenly setting with so many details and trimmings. We had to bolt in front of a cyclone 24 hours early and they even gave us a full refund for the cancelled day. A MUST visit place!
