Daniel's house was an amazing place to stay, very quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful rest but also easy to get into the city if needed, we used the train from Södertälje. Daniel was very helpful throughout the trip. The islands and scenery in this area are fantastic. A very cosy, comfortable house to stay in.

Great recommendation. It's hard to imagine that you can get better value. Also all the instructions were easy to understand, and response time was quick. I thought there was a single bed smaller than what I had read, but we didn't end up missing it. Suitable for up to 6 people.

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Great house in a nice, quiet location! The house was very clean, and it was easy to communicate with Alex and Emma. We enjoyed evening swims at the nearby dock. We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking at Solviksbadet a few tram stops away. We greatly appreciated that Alex and Emma had removed some of their stuff, so there were plenty of drawers and closet space available. Thank you for being such terrific hosts!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dawit’s place. The cabin is super cozy and the sunsets are spectacular! The toilet takes a bit to get used to. But we would definitely recommend the place to everyone looking for a quiet place to stay. Also, Dawit was a great host und always very responsive.

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

We had such a lovely stay. The house and garden are wonderfully designed and comfortable. Being able to have all the space but just 20 minutes away from central Stockholm was great. Nikolina was so helpful and really responsive when we messaged her with questions both before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend!

3 days in a beautiful and very well equipped house. It was clean and comfortable. Our tall teenage grandchildren would have been more comfortable in the single beds if they had been available. But they managed and we had a really good time.although we didn’t use it, the public transport system was close enough to be an asset. Long walks to Stocksund through the forest and past the lakes were a bonus. The information and help I received from the owners including a video walk around the establishment was invaluable when we arrived and included an introduction to the feathered pets . I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you.

Can’t recommend this gem enough! Absolutely beautiful house in the middle of nature with a sauna right on the water. We are leaving after 5 amazing days and hope to come back in the coming years. Niklas is super responsive and helpful, plenty of tips about the surroundings and super easy experience getting settled in. The Kitchen is also one of the best equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever seen!

A tasteful and very charming and cozy house in an amazingly nice setting! Fully equipped, the only thing we missed was toaster but a wonderful fireplace and plenty of barbecue facilities. We enjoyed the magical orangery and thought it was cozy with our own chickens (and eggs). We received such a warm welcome from Markus and Matilda who also responded quickly and care that we had a great stay. And we really did, despite the power outages (which are of course outside the impact of the host couple). Possibly it was a bit in the smallest team, we who were 6 people and wanted to stay in the same house, but the host couple were very generous and care that we enjoyed and offered all the comfort we could possibly wish for. Such a nice weekend on the whole! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dajana’s place. The place was perfect for two persons for one week, it is very cozy and practical and everything we needed was there. Short walk to metro station with very frequent metro’s to town. Next to waterside. Dajana was also very responsive and arranging so we would definitely recommend her place and we might for sure come back if we find ourselves in Stockholm again!

Our family, (parents and 2 girls, 13j & 17j) had a wonderful stay in Thomas & Pamelas house. It is very peaceful and quiet, so if youre looking to "get away from it all", this is definitely the place. The beach is a short 5 min walk through the lovely pine forest and also for kids, this is no problem. The beach is lovely and clean, as is the water. The house is very pretty. Lots of sunshine on the table at breakfast time, a nice terrasse, and even the occasional visit from a small deer from the forest, in the early mornings. Thomas is a very helpful and responsive host. He gave us several good tips for excursions and what to do and helped us with our questions. Checkin is automatic and you do it on your own and i t works just fine. The house is well equipped, we found lacking of nothing. As a result we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. We had a great time there and we would stay there again. If you want to experience Sweden, this, is as good as it gets.

Great friendly responsive host. Lovely house with everything you need. Close to tram and metro which makes trips into stockholm easy. We got snow which is what the children wanted. Seeing the deer and squirrels in the garden made our toddlers trip as he was convinced they were santas reindeer. Thankyou for hosting us. Only downside was the hot tub listed is actually a jacuzzi bath which was the main reason we booked this property. This was clarified too late to change our booking.

Joel was very responsive with all communications which provides a great sense of security, especially when visiting a different country. House was just as presented in the pictures, very clean inside, looked to be recently refurbished. Evenings are extremely peaceful with only ducks occasionaly in the distance. Neighbors were nice, supermarket about a five minute drive away as well as many popular areas to visit in Stockholm about a 15 minute drive. You will enjoy this location.

The location of the apartment is perfect for visitors wanting to stay at Södermalm and SoFo area. There were also lots of good playgrounds for kids. Mikael gave us very good instructions and always replied almost instantly. Very nice and recommendable choice altogether.

Amazing villa with a long and literally colorful past. It is beautifully renovated and very well equipped. Swimming in the sea is a bit of an adventure but there is always the heated pool for the not-so-daring. The location is perfect - just 15 Minutes by car to the heart of Stockholm but still in the middle of wild nature. Simon gave us a very warm welcome and was always available for questions.

The Beach House

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

The house is fantastic and Storholmen is a lovely place. We used the terrace by the beach a lot and the house has everything you need. We had three children with us and they also had a lovely holiday. However, you should be aware that you have to take everything with you as you can't buy anything on the island, but parking at Mama Annas Brygga works perfectly. The only thing we were missing was the evening sun.

We loved our stay here! Thank you so much. You have a beautiful house. For me and my husband and our two daughters (11&14) the space was perfect. We loved the decks and the backyard. The living room was so comfy. A very chill spot but still easy to get into downtown. The neighbourhood is so lovely! Perfect place for us!
