We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful - well cared for and wonderfully designed - and the panoramic view of the archipelago is amazing. We spent a few days just swimming from the private jetty and enjoying the view but the location is also a short drive to Nacka Strand, so we took the commuter ferry to visit Stockholm too. Chicki also particularly recommended the Artipelag gallery near Gustavsberg, so we had a lovely day there too, enjoying their sculpture trail through the forest by the sea. I would very much recommend this lovely Airbnb, its location and the helpful hosts.

Stor anbefaling. Det er svært at forestille sig at man kan få mere for pengene. Alle instruktionerne var også lette at forstå, and svartiden var hurtigt. Jeg synes der var en enkelt seng mindre end hvad jeg havde læst mig frem til, men vi endte ikke med at savne den. Passende til op til 6 mennesker.

Fantastic place in a fantastic location with a view! You will need a car to get to Marcus’ place, it has uniterupted views of the Baltic sea. Marcus also was very helpful with giving us tips and helping us plan our days, we would not hesitate in staying here again or at one of his other places.

We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

Daniel's house was an amazing place to stay, very quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful rest but also easy to get into the city if needed, we used the train from Södertälje. Daniel was very helpful throughout the trip. The islands and scenery in this area are fantastic. A very cosy, comfortable house to stay in.

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

3 days in a beautiful and very well equipped house. It was clean and comfortable. Our tall teenage grandchildren would have been more comfortable in the single beds if they had been available. But they managed and we had a really good time.although we didn’t use it, the public transport system was close enough to be an asset. Long walks to Stocksund through the forest and past the lakes were a bonus. The information and help I received from the owners including a video walk around the establishment was invaluable when we arrived and included an introduction to the feathered pets . I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you.

Staying at Gustav’s house felt like coming home. It’s warm, comfortable, and has that perfect mix of coziness and understated luxury. From the moment you step inside, you feel at ease. The décor is tasteful, and the house strikes a great balance—plenty of spaces to relax on your own and spots to gather and enjoy time with others. The location is just as lovely. A quick walk takes you to the water’s edge, and heading the other way, you’ll find some beautiful woodlands to explore. Unfortunately, visiting in December meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the outdoor amenities, like the decking or the beach volleyball court, but they looked fantastic. That said, we were more than spoiled indoors with the gym equipment, sauna, pool table, and an amazing kitchen. Gustav was also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which made the stay even better. Our family of five cannot recommend this place enough.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dawit’s place. The cabin is super cozy and the sunsets are spectacular! The toilet takes a bit to get used to. But we would definitely recommend the place to everyone looking for a quiet place to stay. Also, Dawit was a great host und always very responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Max and Idas Cabin. It is perfect for a calm and relaxing holiday in nature. The hosts were friendly, helpful and replied very fast. They also organized a quick solution when the gas for cooking ran out. The place has everything you need: a well equipped kitchen, a Bluetooth speaker. Be aware: you need to bring all your food and if you want to take the ferry from the island, you have to order it in advance. We would come back anytime!

Wir haben traumhafte Tage mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Terrasse mit atemberaubender Aussicht lädt zum Verweilen ein. Eine herrliche Badestelle ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Ein paar Autominuten entfernt liegt ein schönes Naturschutzgebiet ebenfalls mit Badestellen. Stockholm war gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Für uns war es ein unvergesslich schöner Urlaub und die Unterkunft hatte alles, was man brauchte und ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Vielen lieben Dank an Cecilia und ihre Familie!

Our family, (parents and 2 girls, 13j & 17j) had a wonderful stay in Thomas & Pamelas house. It is very peaceful and quiet, so if youre looking to "get away from it all", this is definitely the place. The beach is a short 5 min walk through the lovely pine forest and also for kids, this is no problem. The beach is lovely and clean, as is the water. The house is very pretty. Lots of sunshine on the table at breakfast time, a nice terrasse, and even the occasional visit from a small deer from the forest, in the early mornings. Thomas is a very helpful and responsive host. He gave us several good tips for excursions and what to do and helped us with our questions. Checkin is automatic and you do it on your own and i t works just fine. The house is well equipped, we found lacking of nothing. As a result we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. We had a great time there and we would stay there again. If you want to experience Sweden, this, is as good as it gets.

Joel was very responsive with all communications which provides a great sense of security, especially when visiting a different country. House was just as presented in the pictures, very clean inside, looked to be recently refurbished. Evenings are extremely peaceful with only ducks occasionaly in the distance. Neighbors were nice, supermarket about a five minute drive away as well as many popular areas to visit in Stockholm about a 15 minute drive. You will enjoy this location.

The location of the apartment is perfect for visitors wanting to stay at Södermalm and SoFo area. There were also lots of good playgrounds for kids. Mikael gave us very good instructions and always replied almost instantly. Very nice and recommendable choice altogether.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus hat viele Annehmlichkeiten ( Kaffeevollautomat, Airfryer, Trampolin, Terrassen, Grills, und vieles mehr). In die Stadt sind wir mit der Tunnelbana von Fårsta Strand gefahren, da dort ein sehr preiswerter Parkplatz (3,20€ pro Tag) war. Das Haus ist großzügig, bequem und super gelegen. Die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich.

We had such a lovely stay. The house and garden are wonderfully designed and comfortable. Being able to have all the space but just 20 minutes away from central Stockholm was great. Nikolina was so helpful and really responsive when we messaged her with questions both before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend!

Unique lake home by the sea

Das Haus von Niklas ist unfassbar gemütlich und die Lage einzigartig- wir hatten dort eine tolle Woche im August ! Es ist sehr ruhig und einsam. Gemütliche Betten, super ausgestattete Küche. Nachbarn hört und sieht man nicht. Wir waren dort mit 3 Jungs zwischen 11 und 20 Jahren. Wir haben gebadet, Barsche geangelt, sind über die Insel spaziert und vom Felsen gesprungen - und abends haben wir die gefangenen Fische gegrillt und in der Holzofen- Sauna direkt am Wasser entspannt … es war total erholsam für alle. Wenn man sich anfangs gleich mit Lebensmitteln gut eindeckt, muss man die Insel eigentlich gar nicht verlassen. Niklas ist super freundlich und immer erreichbar- er hat uns am Parkplatz abgeholt, auf die Insel gebracht und alles gezeigt. Eines der schönsten Ferienhäuser in dem wir je waren! Danke dafür! 😃

Matthias und seine Familie haben ein tolles Haus und Grundstück. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und bietet viele tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir mochten die unmittelbare Nähe zu den Schären, zum Nationalpark Tyresta und haben auch mal eine Tour nach Stockholm gemacht. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had an excellent stay at Daniel's house. The view is splendid, and it is very quiet. The only difference from the photos is that there isn't a large sandy beach, so there's no need to bring your children's sand toys ;-) However, there is a trampoline that is very popular. The nearby mini-golf is also great.

Vi var ett gäng vänner som hyrde detta boende och var hur nöjda som helst. Mycket social yta både inomhus och ute på terrassen, stort och bra kök, många badrum och otroligt fin utsikt och ett lugnt och skönt område både nära bad och naturstigar för promenader och löpturer. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe!

Amazing villa with a long and literally colorful past. It is beautifully renovated and very well equipped. Swimming in the sea is a bit of an adventure but there is always the heated pool for the not-so-daring. The location is perfect - just 15 Minutes by car to the heart of Stockholm but still in the middle of wild nature. Simon gave us a very warm welcome and was always available for questions.

Ett super ställa att spendera midsommar! Nära vattnet, en vacker utsikt, med en massa bekvämligheter och saker i huset. Enkelt att ta sig till med buss. Vi insåg inte att handdukar och lakan inte var inkluderade, men Stefan var super snäll och lät oss låna deras privata saker. Vänlig snabba svar från värden också. Vi tog med en massa basgrejer, som toapapper, kaffefilter, salt, osv, men det fanns redan i huset (men vi kanske bara hade tur). Hade gärna åkt dit igen!
