West Strand House walk to Royal Portrush Golf Club

DanielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed here with other half and two boys (14y & 10y). House is well located within easy walking distance of the beach and the town as well as local shop. House is well decorated and has everything that you will need for a stay. Communication was brilliant. Garden is a lovely sun trap (even in april) in the evening and we were able to sit outside and watch the boys play swing ball. Would definitely recommend.

Ineuran Bay Cottage,Malin Head Co. Donegal Ireland

ShaunaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing place, exactly as we had hoped. Weather showed it in it's best light, although we will be back and I suspect have just as good a time in the wild weather. John is a friendly and helpful host and we appreciated that he was nearby to call on for the necessities, like bringing new life, with the birth of a lamb, while we were there. Plus the horses greeted us in the morning at the door and just made the whole experience total bliss from start to finish. Not to mention the beautiful private land beach and all the coloured pebbles, crystal waters and lucky us with the sunsets, that you could imagine. If you want to get a dose of fresh air, to clear the mind and enjoy the simplicity of a time and place then this is the place to go. Thanks for a lovely break, we warn you now, we will be back! Regards, Shauna

Top Floor Retreat: Sea, Beach & Balcony - Portmor

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed staying at Portmor Top Floor Retreat at Malin Head harbor. I notified Mary when we arrived. She came to the unit in about five minutes to greet us and to show us around the unit. The place has the necessary tools you need to enjoy your stay. Mary is very organized; she has all the information on sites, shopping, food and things to do while in Malin Head. During our stay on the second floor we got to see the locals going for a swim. Brrrr the water had to be cold in April. Then watch the fishermen bring in their catch of the day. If we were to come to the most northern part of Ireland again we would stay at Mary’s place.

2 bed house, close to West Strand, Portrush.

HazelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Even before we booked David was communicative and helpful. On arrival check-in was extremely simple, and the house was amazing. Decorated tastefully and in neutral colours my friend and I had an extremely relaxing stay Location can’t be beaten, it’s on a quiet road, very close to the sea With an easy 20 minute walk into town. We wanted for nothing, there’s a larger way of equipment, and great basics for cooking. David leaves an excellent guide to the amenities in the area with some very helpful tips and directions. On leaving, I managed to leave my passport and David went above and beyond sending it back to me, I’m eternally grateful for that.

We loved our stay. The house is really cozy and warm and the fact that it’s pet friendly is AMAZING! The neighbourhood is super quiet and safe for children to play in the street. We walked everywhere and Portrush itself is also kid and pet friendly and the scenery is simply stunning. Walking along the East and West Strands and up around Ramore Head is out of this world. We definitely plan to stay again and this time for longer than two weeks!

Cecil's Cottage,Buncrana by Wild Atlantic Wanderer

If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

Sandybank - Game of Thrones

Dave’s place in Castlerock was a great spot for the Causeway Coast. The house was very clean, and well maintained with a great living and kitchen/dining area. The upside down arrangement of the house means you get a sea/beach view. We had plenty of space for our two families (four adults, three kids ages 9-13). Port Stewart had plenty of restaurants and a Tesco so we mixed eating out and cooking for ourselves. Communication with Dave was great, timely and helpful. We loved our stay in Northern Ireland and look forward to coming back.
