Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tukums Municipality

Outstanding accommodation: spacious, very well designed, quiet, surrounded by pine forest and very close to the sea. Well equipped. Very welcoming hosts. We enjoyed forest and beach walks, and trips to nearby villages.

We stayed in Egons's place with three children... inside there was enough sleeping places and we had everything we needed. The place has quite big outside area with nice sitting places, trampoline etc. Children were playing football and tennis (we had our net with us), running around and enjoying themselves. As a bonus there was also friendly dog and a cat. Sea is one minute away, good resto "Bermuda" (recommended by Egons) is some minutes by car. We stayed in the place only four days, could imagine to stay longer. :)

Good place for calm and relaxing days.

Beautiful house, great for a large group of 10 in the winter. Sauna, fireplace and fantastic surroundings. Highly recommend and also the pizza place nearby “albatross”.

Our stay at Egons’ place was a peaceful, nature-filled experience! From the forest surrounding the little settlement, to the beach of the Gulf of Riga literally 100 meters away from the property - it was great for nature lovers. Egons was very friendly and responsive, and had an interesting story about his place - just talk to him :) Unfortunately during our stay there was a mosquito plague going on so we couldn’t properly enjoy the garden and the outside amenities- but l I’m sure they are great! Only downside would be that it is somewhat remote - an hour by bus from Riga - and the bus stops going at around 20:00. However, some advance planning or using Bolt should get you going ;) Well recommend visiting Egons’ cozy wooden house in the forest - you live close to the family and you feel the warmth! Thank you, Egons and the fam, we would love to stay again sometime!

the fabulous thing about this place is that it is almost on the beach, a stone throw from the sea, and there is almost nobody on the beach in front of the house. There is a big window inside, and sitting in the evening inside with a view directly on the sea is magical. this outweighs by far the inconveniences with the hut: the toilet is outside, and during the night it is very dark. The bathroom is also not in the hut but next door with an outside entrance. It consists of a shower with hot water which contains a lot of sulphur from the surrounding sulphur wells, and that comes with a remarkable smell that stays on your skin. George told me they would add a shower and a toilet to the hut next winter. Anyways, it remains a wonderful and unforgettable stay and that will be surely the case for anyone if they are ready to compromise a bit on comfort.

loved staying here in Ragaciems. cute beach town, house is an easy walk to the beach but would be fun to just stay and hang at the house. So many bedrooms, cold plunge & sauna, great porch with BBQ- this house has it all, and with lots of style and unique personality too. great restaurants and market nearby. highly recommend, especially for a large group!

A stunning luxuriously-looking castle with large, display rooms. Very clean everywhere, with everything you need in the kitchen. The two-bedroom apartment had tons of space and was even nicer than the photos. Highly recommend, a unique experience that the family loved. Nice little village with easy access to Jurmala and Riga, either by car or by train. Shop and cafe right next door. 5/5, everything was just right!

We arrived for two families with a pet. The host has been great at checking in. When we arrived, we found a tidy and cozy house . The environment was tidy . There was a lot of entertainment in the yard: trampoline , balls, bicycles, swings,hammocks. The sea next to it is at an easy pace for 10 minutes. The beach is great . The beach has benches, swings, stairs, volleyball. Even with unfriendly weather conditions, there's things to do at home : a variety of games and toys , internet. When you arrive with your car, there's a place to stay safely. Everyone has a great experience and a desire to come back again . Recommended . Thanks to your host.
