A very peaceful rural retreat with spectacular views and close to Wairoa. Loved our stay in this cosy, comfortable, clean and very well equipped & designed modern abode big enough for a couple. Thoughtful and friendly host who kindly included supplies for breakfast. Would return very willingly.

Really great place, highly recommended. The cabin is very cute with everything you need and the setting is lovely. Very quiet and relaxing. The garden is beautiful and there are lots of birds. I really enjoyed catching the afternoon sun on the verandah! Thanks Ngaire for a fantastic stay.

Plenty of space in this air bnb and it's super tidy! The renovations on the interior have given this old villa a new life. Everything was provided in the kitchen to make for easy meal prep and we appreciated all the fans to keep the house cool. Recommend to others if looking for a cosy place to stay

A peaceful retreat with a stunning lake view and a lovely outdoor space to unwind with a drink. The place was spotless, warm, and cozy, with everything needed for a perfect getaway. Being so close to the Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk made it even more special. Patrick was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.

This home is a generous country home with a magic view. Equipped with everything you need, it’s was easy to cook and feel at home. we found peace in the garden and action at the close by beaches. Elizabeth’s land included a beach which was stunning, a rare treat to wander a private beach. We loved our stay, we’ll be back.

Ngā mihi ki a koe. It was a lovely home, well-equipped, and beautifully situated with beautiful views. Its proximity to town and marae made it an ideal location. I highly recommend this lovely home to anyone seeking a spacious and affordable Airbnb. I certainly will rent again.

Stunning, camp grounds, loved our little cottage, had everything we required for a couple of days. We were impressed with the facilities, clearly marked walking trails, with farm activities on offer for those that wanted to. Stunning countryside and river, very quiet and peaceful. We had a self catering cottage ( nearest shop is 40 mins away). They offer pizza nights and coffee on weekends so check with your hosts. We would definitely recommend this place. The cottege is literally on the east end of Te Unerewera NP on the Rainforest Route, a perfectly idilic spot in NZ nature. Jane and Leon share their home with us/you as a guest and make a real and great effort to feel at home. Both of them are very welcoming and always good for a proper cosy chat about culture in NZ or anything else. It was a real pleaseure sharing their home and we would go back allways!

Great accommodation and host especially as the fire had been started so the house was nice and warm when we turned up. Kitchen facilities were good with everything you'd need to cook a meal. Was overall a nice quiet place to stay.
