道が少し狭く分かりにくい場所にありましたが道順動画を見るとスムーズに辿り着くことができました。綺麗な建物、家具でかなりおすすめです。子供たちも外で走り回れるほど余裕があり、大人も子供も快適に過ごすことができました。キッチン用品は別棟にあり住宅の方ではコンロが使えないので雨の日の利用では少し不便かもしれませんが、利用させて頂いた日は丁度晴れていたので朝食も外で食べてどの時間帯でも楽しく過ごせました。

【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】Queen Villa

Alan and Reiko went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ease certain travel pains. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind of enough to arrange a cake from the mainland, they helped us locate a camera left on the ferry, they facilitated a bike rental, they gave us rides when we needed them, the list goes on. We were lucky enough to eat at their newly opened restaurant, and had the most incredible meal - probably the best we have eaten in Japan thus far! This is to say nothing of their lovely property, which is sublime. We stayed in the queen villa and were able to look out at the beautiful garden foregrounding the sea and sky. The historic buildings were breathtaking, with modern touches to ensure our comfort. I especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the mornings! I look forward to someday returning to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot, thank you Alan and Reiko for a memorable family birthday weekend!

Eclectic, quirky and definitely memorable place to stay. This is not the place for you if you like faceless corporate style. Brett is a friendly host who is keen to help and engage. The use of electric bikes made the location easy and we had great fun visiting local islands Naoshima and Teshima. Uno has a very nice onsen. Our favourite memory of the house was sitting outside listening to all the different bird noises.

とても快適に過ごすことができ、本当にお世話になりました。室内はとてもきれいで清潔です。またキッチン用品など、よく整えられていて使い勝手が非常に良かったです。お風呂もあたらしく、十分リラックスできました。またホスト様の細やかな気配りやご親切も本当に感謝でした。また是非利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました！

今回の滞在は本当に素晴らしいものでした！ホストのEeyanさんはとても親切で、質問にも温かく答えていただき、とても丁寧に教えてくれました。お部屋も高級感があり、とても清潔で非日常を味わうことができました。バレルサウナもあり、海と夕陽にフェリーが通っている景色が素晴らしくて感動しました。記憶に残るとても良い思い出となりました。また、いつか利用させてもらいたいと思います。個人的には本当に星10でした！ありがとうございました。

Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew

Je recommande fortement ce logement si vous allez visiter la région où les Îles autour. Aya est un hôte adorable et très réactif pour tout question. Le logement est traditionnelle japonais et comprend tout ce que nous avons besoin en plus d'un super "snack" ou Aya offre des snacks et du the/café /bouteilles d'eau. En plus de ça Aya fait des merveilleux donuts qu'elle vends dans son petit donut shop tout près de la maison. À ne pas louper ! Merci pour tout !

家族旅行(夫婦+小学生と未就学児)で利用しました。建物自体は年季を感じるものの綺麗にリノベーションされていてとても快適に過ごすことができました。ファミリーにおすすめの宿だと思います。また機会があれば利用させていただきたいです！

2泊3日、10名で利用させていただきました。駅からも近く、内装も大変きれいで快適に過ごせました。タオルやボディソープなどもご用意いただいており、特に困ることはありませんでした。強いて言えば、ダブルベッドが4台とソファベッドが1台、敷布団が1セットで10名が眠ることになるので、男女で行く際は部屋割り等に気をつけた方がよいと思います。また岡山旅行の際は、利用させていただきたいと思います。ありがとうございました！

We had a truly wonderful stay at Tomoko’s beachfront home! The ocean view was amazing, and the house itself was spacious, cozy, and inviting. Each room had its own unique charm and a heater to keep it warm and comfortable. The bathroom and tub were a real treat, and the kitchen was modern and easy to use, making our stay even more enjoyable. What truly made our experience special was Tomoko herself. She was an incredibly kind, friendly, and responsive host. She welcomed us upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and answering any questions we had. Her thoughtful recommendations for local food and shops added so much to our trip. Tomoko made us feel right at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. We highly recommend staying here!

2年連続で予約していた日が台風に直撃されるという不運に見舞われましたが、ようやく3月の小春日和に小豆島に妹家族と訪れることができました。オカ邸はとても広い昔ながらの日本家屋で、リノベされた素敵なベッドの部屋、広くて清潔なキッチンがあり、長期滞在にも向いていると思います。オーナーの方のすばやい連絡にも助かりました。また小豆島を訪れる機会があれば宿泊させていただきたいと思います。
