Vacation rentals in Trout Brook

Six of us stayed at this cottage for a weekend; it was great! Very spacious, and had everything we needed for a convenient stay, and then some. Nancy was a fantastic host; very responsive and friendly. Worth mentioning that the fireplaces weren’t working; not a deal breaker for us whatsoever, but if the weekend would have been romantic in nature, it may have been slightly disappointing for some. No TV’s in the bedrooms either; worth mentioning since some pictures in the listing may be out of date. Hot tub was a great add on! Washer and dryer on both levels too! We did find the bedrooms a bit cold. Nancy responded to me quickly on this issue, even though we didn’t ask her to do anything about it… I’m sure she would have. She even offered to bring us blankets; very kind! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. The views are stunning and it’s absolutely serene. Will definitely be back!

Superb spot on the Bouctouche river with beautiful sunsets on clear evenings. We found it very peaceful and relaxing, we enjoyed the deck overlooking the river and the fire pit with Adirondack chairs down the bottom of the garden. The chalet was comfortable for three adults and one kid for a week with everything that you need to relax and have a good time. The place is also very close to Bouctouche with plenty of amenities, the beaches nearby were great and we even made it down to Hopewell Rocks for the day. Recommended! We would love to go back. PS Visit le pays de la Sagouin if you can, it’s very cool.

Angela’s house is just as you see it in the pictures. The beach is great and literally in your backyard! The sunsets are incredible. The house is massive with a big kitchen ideal for groups and big families. The house is very well equipped and furnished with a thought for every detail to feel at home. It actually feels like a friends home you would have borrowed, that’s how homey it feels. The only downside like other comments mentioned are the bloody mosquitoes who will eat you alive after 5.00pm. It might have been nice to have a protected outdoor area. Also, if you’re picky with the taste of water, this one tastes a little bit like lake water. We had a great stay at Angela’s and we would all highly recommend the place to friends and family!

my husband and I loved this place. We stayed for 3 nights, watched 4 salmon caught right in front of the cabin. We loved the privacy, solitude . We will be back.

The house has fantastic views directly onto the sea and looks even more beautiful than in the photos! We felt very comfortable! A dream!!! I highly recommend the house! Sincere thanks for the great hospitality.

It was such a lovely home. We enjoyed it a lot. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. And the living space was great for us. We did a lot, despite the weather! We loved the Veloroute and will go back to do more of it. It was fun for us, especially the boardwalk (that we could cycle) at Shippagan. Also, we had never heard of the Acadian Historic Village and it was well worth a visit. We went to the Miscou Lighthouse, walked the Miscou Bog Trail, visited the "Candy" Church, and just had a great time with our friends from Ontario.

This beautiful retreat was exactly as described! Immaculate! Marissa and Paul-André were extremely helpful and quick to respond any questions we had! We felt very much at home! The hot tub is extremely near the patio doors which made our daughters who both use walkers have very easy access! They absolutely loved it! We would recommend this place a 100% ! We had a very pleasant 5 days at Lise's cottage. I know the area very well and our choice of Caraquet was what we were looking for for the quality of its restaurants as well as the warm welcome of the population. There is a good choice of very interesting activities to suit all ages. The cottage is very comfortable and the location is perfect. The sea view makes the place very relaxing. We will definitely go back when we return to the area if it is available during our next stay. / Nous avons passé 5 jours très agréables dans le chalet de Lise.
