Enjoy a fantastic view of both the Öland alvar and the Baltic Sea. 2.5 km to the nearest restaurant and 15 km to the nearest store, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.; 30 km to a larger area with several restaurants and stores (shopping center); 2.2 km to the sea, where there is a campground with a small store, adventure golf, and light food in the summer. Unfortunately, the condition of the beach and the water there varies a bit; 30 minutes to several beaches.

Vickleby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved and picturesque village street is an attraction and is counted as one of the finest on Öland. The designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with an artistic focus. The facility is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a café and a shop with nice handicraft products and home-grown plants for sale. Vicklebyalvaret attracts many flower lovers. In May, a sea of orchids spreads out.
