Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Traverse City

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect—easy to access yet peaceful, providing the best of both convenience and relaxation. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, which made for a perfect way to unwind. The only thing we wished for was a queen-size bed in one of the rooms for those who had to share, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

This farmhouse was beautifully redone inside! Our kids loved the rock wall and swing, the loft for reading and basement area. The house was clean, the backyard was nicely fenced and the kitchen had almost any dishes you would need. The property itself has beautiful walking trails, dog park, nature-scape playground and ponds to explore- perfect for our kids to get out their energy without having to go drive around to find a park!

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Glad we finally got to stay here. Have had it saved for a special occasion. Loved everything about our stay. The location was great, within walking distance of some great restaurants. We will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as pictured and even cozier than we hoped for. The sunken living room was a wonderful place for my family of four to lounge and spend quality time together. Had the opportunity to use the hot tub and stomp around in the snow on the property. Anna was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations and directions. Would definitely stay here again.

Ramy’s place was great for our girls weekend getaway! Two of us were celebrating birthdays and we loved the convenience to the beach area as well as downtown. We even went to Farm Club, a brewery and restaurant recommended by Ramy, for dinner our first evening and it was fantastic! Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We loved staying here for a little weekend getaway! Dorene and John were so helpful and kind. The place was awesome so close to everything! Everything was so cozy and well put together, the hot tub with view is awesome!! We for sure will be back

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

The little cabin was exactly what I envisioned. Quiet and calm with lots of trees.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils to cook with. Home was clean and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. Host was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to go to reset and relax. The water was a serene experience and left us feeling awww’d Going to town wasn’t far to get needed supplies We look forward to visiting again!

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! This rustic little cabin was adorable and exactly what we were looking for! It was prefect for our week up north with our pups and the setting was beautiful. The cabin is secluded from the main residence, but close enough if needed. There are walking trails on the property (which the dogs loved!) and a fire pit overlooking a pond with a beautiful barn in the background. We were happy to find that the cabin amenities were as listed. Linens, towels, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, etc are conveniently provided. The mini fridge is perfect to stash leftovers and drinks - but just a note, there isn't a freezer compartment. There is a grill on the covered porch and even grates for cooking over the fire pit! We enjoyed the electric fireplace, which not only provided cozy nights, but gave that extra ambiance to the cabin. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Barb & Andy for a great stay and for sharing your cabin with us. We truly felt comfortable and at home.
