At the foot of the Creux du Van, in the footsteps of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, is our beautiful apartment, completely renovated in an old house from 1870. Surrounded by a permaculture garden, on the banks of a small river, the place is quiet and peaceful. Independent entrance, all comforts, tastefully decorated. Conducive to walks, cycling, you will find a peaceful oasis allowing you to recharge your batteries while enjoying, perhaps, a locally produced absinthe.

The toilet is on the ground floor. A kitchen with a dining room on the ground floor is available upon request (independent entrance). You have to take a spiral staircase to access the cottage.

Old chalet

An old chalet rebuilt next to the farmhouse where the cottage of La Cachotière is located. Without comfort but very warm, it has a kitchen-living room with running water in the sink (drinking but cold only) as well as dry toilets on the ground floor and a bedroom upstairs. Heating is with a wood stove also used as a stove (wood is provided). It is ideal for 2 people.

"Au 2ème" is a studio located on the 2nd floor in the center of Couvet at Grand-Rue 5, in an old renovated house. There is a kitchen with oven and fridge. There is TV, Wi-Fi and Netflix in the room. We don't offer breakfast. A bakery is 100 meters away. We have other rooms on AirBnB "on the 3rd", "on the 2nd suite", "on the 2nd east" and "on the 3rd east".

The stay with Chantal was wonderful, warm and uncomplicated. I was warmly welcomed by Chantal and she gave me some tips for my stay. The bedroom and bathroom (for private use) were very clean and nicely decorated. I felt at home and am glad I stayed with Chantal (originally I was looking for a cheap hotel in the area, but I am very happy that I chose to stay with Chantal). I would go back anytime, highly recommended!

Francine, sparkling with energy and joie de vivre, welcomed us generously into her home. We leave with a smile on our faces, having shared beautiful moments with her, Rikiki, Mr. Little Cat, as well as her three chickens. We highly recommend this country stopover located near a river, vast fields, mountains and forests. Its house is ideally located near remarkable waterfalls; a well-known cave dedicated to Mary is to be discovered under the village.
