Family-friendly vacation rentals in Toyota

We needed a place for six people and wanted to see the Wedded Rocks / Meoto Iwa. This for the bill! Hiro-san gave us a weather warning and, sure enough, there was a lot of rain. It was nice to have a warm place to stay after a very wet walk to the rocks. Hiro-san messaged promptly and was very responsive about checkon timing. We didn't have many questions, but I think he would've been great at that, too. FYI that the local restaurants are mostly family owned, so it is nice to call ahead if you can, especially in bad weather. If you need a place for a group stay, this one works well.

I think it is a very good place if you are staying in a large group.

This place is so nice

1. The property is easy to see by the road, and the interior of the room, futons, etc. are very clean. 2. Check-in and check-out are easy, and it is safe because of the police security area. 3. There is a convenience store nearby, about an 8-minute walk to the couple's rock, about an 8-minute walk to the couple's rock, and there is a futon barbecue on the west side of the coast, and I enjoyed watching the ocean view while eating grilled food on the west side of the coast. 4. Convenient to go sightseeing to Toba the next day 5. Hiro was kind enough to explain everything. I recommend staying here!

It was close to the station and a very good property.

I had an amazing one week stay and I would definitely love to come back again for longer. It's located in a nice really quiet neighbourhood with convenient access to Sakae and Nagoya station. It was extremely comfortable and spacious, all the amenities were great, the host is very kind and helpful.

We loved Saori’s house. Large and spacious with lots of cutlery, crockery, record player and games. It’s feels like their holiday home with all of the extras. It’s in such a gorgeous, stunning location that it’s hard to imagine it’s real. The view of the mountains and rice paddies are delightful. It was a fair distance from where the bus dropped us off, we walked for about 25mins to get there. But it was definitely worth it. Just be sure to have groceries with you if you need them. Once there, it’s walkable to onsens, restaurants and lots of local attractions. We were sad to leave!

Everything was great except the location was a little far! You can take a taxi when you arrive, but you can't take a taxi when you leave. The Host is very welcoming and considerate, and prepared water and snacks ~ Amazing view from the window I especially like the cherry tree in the yard, the color is beautiful!❤️

This is a very typical Japanese apartment, the host was very friendly, like his own uncle, staying at relatives' house.He came by to say hello, helped us and answered a lot of questions. At first I felt that the location and transportation were not very convenient, but then I found that it was not a problem with the apartment, but the transportation in all of Nagoya was quite inconvenient.Good that it is very quiet in this location for a steady sleep.It would have been better if the hallway light light at the door could be turned off. You can walk to the port of Nagoya, and the nearby bookstore is very good.And some izakayas should have a try.

I stayed in a short time, but I had a very valuable experience like the times were traveling back in time.

Had a great stay at Shige’s place. Booked it very last minute and for a great price. Location was ideal with a 10 minute walk from the nearest station. Host communication was amazing with very prompt responses!

We absolutely loved this home. Every aspect was welcoming and cozy. We were only in Nagoya for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. This house blew our air bnb in Tokyo out of the water. If we come back to Nagoya, we’ll definitely stay again. Loved it!

Lovely place to stay and experience a traditional home. Tomo was super accommodating, the free shuttle was great and we loved the local recommendations!

We had a great time in Ise using this house as our base. The station is really close by which made it very convenient to move around the area. The house is located in a very peaceful and quiet location - perfect for winding down after a long day of sightseeing. The host is very friendly and kind and explained everything to us when we arrived. Would stay here again the next time we visit Ise.

Stay at Meijuan's place in Nagoya was splendid. It was in a very peaceful quiet area and very cozy to stay in. It was close enough to transportation that you could go check out the sights of Nagoya while still offering a cozy place to chill during our long trip. Our host was very responsive and ready to help whenever needed and we were close enough to some resturants we could have a nice stroll to. We would gladly stay with them again and highly recommend them to anyone in the area wanting to see the more rural, secluded parts of Japan.

Yuki was a very helpful and supportive host from beginning our of stay to the end and beyond. She was able to make a lot of helpful local recommendations. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It might not seem close to places at first but many helpful local places are actually nearby if you just walk around. Its a walkable distance to rental cars and a 24 hour welcia and supermarket as well. The house itself is very spacious and has a showa era feel with many relics of the past. It feels very home-y and it's exactly what we were looking for when booking a stay. I will definitely love to stay here again if I have another opportunity to visit Iseshi.
