It is a nice room that has been nicely renovated while retaining the atmosphere of an old house! There is greenery and a beautiful river, and it is fun to take a walk.

Truly recommendation this place as it has been such a wonderful, wonderful stay here with Takao-san and Kayoko-san! Thank you for the great recommendations for food and places to see! We enjoyed every moment of our time in your house, it was so clean, beautiful and comfortable and felt just like home. We will miss Kayoko-san's delicious cooking and Takao-san's patient guidance! Besides the stay, they also took the time to introduce the city and make sure we were comfortable—our time with them was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for being so kind to drive us to dinner and to the station, the experience here truly went above and beyond!! Thank you for your care 🌷 we hope to be back again!

The hosts were very polite and responsive, which was very helpful.The space, facilities, and service were all very good.8 of us stayed and had a meaningful stay.We ran out of alcohol on the way, but it was within walking distance of Aeon, so it was great that we could go out and buy some more. I went by car, but be careful if you have a big car because you have to go through a narrow road.(I think it's okay because the Land Cruiser and FJ Cruiser were able to pass through)

We stayed 4 weeks at Q5 t h's traditional home. It’s located in a residential area, with a good bakery, supermarket and a very helpful pharmacy near by. Our host was very responsive, helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. Because this is an old traditional house for us it felt very cold during the raining chilly days in Kyoto, but our host was kind to provide an additional heater to keep us more comfortable. The house is spacious, the king bed was comfortable, the shower has a great pressure, and the little zen garden was a pleasant view. The area is very quiet and there is near by train and bus to easily get to all the sights of Kyoto. We have been to Kyoto in previous years and always stayed in hotels, renting a traditional house gave us a better perspective of daily life in Japan.

Absolutely gorgeous place with very welcoming hosts. We had a great time and we were served delicious dinner and breakfast after we took a bike ride around the neighborhood to see the gorgeous local temples and vistas

There is no adjacent parking lot, but there is a paid parking lot nearby that the host told me about.Check-in was also friendly, with a welcome tapioca drink at the stylish cafe on the first floor.The room was well maintained, and the toilet and bathroom were renovated and clean.It was convenient because there was an Aeon Town about a 10-minute walk away for shopping for food and daily necessities.It was a short time, but we had a very comfortable stay.I wanted to use it again.
