We had a great time enjoying the winter wonderland at Mariko’s cabin! A great getaway from busy life in Kansai. The view from the bathtub was beautiful too. The best part of the property (and the reason we chose it) was all the green space on the property that our son got to enjoy. PLUS it was only a 40 minute drive through the mountains to go see Mt.Daisen(大山)🏔️ All in all, a great trip!

I had an incredible stay at Daiichi Inn. The layout of the space was thoughtfully designed, offering all the amenities I needed for my month-long visit. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from my kitchen window, which made cooking and dining an absolute joy. The manager was exceptionally responsive and went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay. Since the inn is located in a charming, peaceful village where a car is essential, the manager kindly helped me arrange a rental, making my experience even more seamless. If you're looking for a tranquil and well-equipped place to stay, I highly recommend Daiichi Inn. It’s the perfect retreat for relaxation and comfort!

I had an experience staying in a camper in my child's preference. We chose the property, so we had a power supply and we were able to use the electricity without a generator. We enjoyed the barbecue stove, fire sandwiches, and insect repellent and lanterns.Pay attention to the bayo. For beginners, the camper's amenities are a bit of a trick, and it was a fresh experience. We had a cute shy dog and we were able to meet.We stayed with several groups of guests and enjoyed interacting with them. The children were also very happy and happy.Thank you for your time.

When I contacted you about replenishing amenities, it was very helpful that you rushed over in the middle of the night.The coffee beans were also very delicious, and it was a luxurious and special experience. It's usually a cafe, so there was a note on the questionnaire that there were no plans to install curtains, but I was surprised that it was more exposed than I thought, so I was glad that there was a partition. The kitchen had the basic condiments as described, but I would have liked it if you could have described what was available in more detail before I went, and perhaps the food left by past guests?I thought it would be nice if it were better managed.As a small point, there were plenty of utensils, but the lineup of dishes was small, and since there was a nice kitchen, it would have been more enjoyable if there had been more dishes.

I booked it to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were able to spend a leisurely time at our own pace, and my husband was also happy to be able to take a sauna, which he loves. It was well equipped with various heating equipment and amenities. There was a polite explanation, so I was able to check in and start the fire smoothly. I am very satisfied to be able to spend a quiet and relaxing time for the first time in a long time. I'd love to stay again ^ ^

It was an inn nestled on a quiet hill.A tatami room, kotatsu, kerosene stove, and a silver world outside the window.We enjoyed the best winter. It seems that there is only a shower in the facility, but there is a hot spring facility about a 10-minute drive away, and I used it.Although it is called the countryside, there are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so there was no inconvenience.The owner told me in detail while writing on the map around the facility. This is a place I would like to visit again when it snows.Thank you for a wonderful time.

Thank u Yamane-san for this wonderful stay! I was initially concerned since the house was a bit far from the station and I was traveling solo. However, Yamane-san’s warm welcome immediately put all my worries at ease! Even though I arrived in Kurayoshi at 10 PM that day, he was kind enough to accommodate my arrival time and drove to the station to pick me up and take me to the house The house is quite a traditional Japanese house, except the bathrooms are more modern style (that's an advantage lol). However, for an Asian, the Japanese dolls in the bedroom were somehow eerie (probably bc of Japanese horror films). But if u r fond of Japanese traditional culture and don't mind this, the bedroom is a perfect fit for u. When the weather is on the colder side (I’d say when the high is below 15°C), the bedroom will need more heaters. Advice-might be helpful to include some photos of the bedroom so guests know what to expect (the rooms are beautiful) Looking forward to the next stay :D

I live in Japan and found this to be a real at home experience that would be great for oversea visitors. House has a lot of history and is very traditional but well kept. She recommended very local places for dinner. Breakfast was very elegant Japanese breakfast. And she is an artist and has amazing taste. Definitely recommend for those who want an authentic non touristy experience

I just returned to Japan from abroad, and I didn't have any plans for Golden Week.When I saw the forecast of sunny weather and was looking for a place to go with my family, I found Akiko's home.Thank you so much for accepting me right away, even though I requested a reservation the day before! Located in a quiet and natural place away from the city, there were handmade swings and trucks in the backyard, and the children were playing with a lot of things. I felt very comfortable coming back to Japanese, English, Hebrew, and overseas. The next day, they started a fire outside in the morning, and the children were excited.When we checked out again, we all went up to the nearby mountain.On the way, the kids got tired, but we all got the courage to find a shortcut and managed to get back to the parking lot in the end!Yes!! Thank you so much!We made the best Golden Week memories.I definitely want to go again!Please let me know! I picked up a rote iron at the PS Base 101% and bought it!

We had a relaxing homestay with Misako and her husband. The food was delicious. Be clear early if you have any vegetarians in your group. Our group's Japanese skills were low and our hosts didn't speak English. However, they went out of their way to give as much help as they could. Misako often used her phone to translate important messages and even called her English speaking son a few times to translate some tricky ideas. Overall this was a very cozy and fun two-day getaway with hosts who worked hard to be very accommodating to us. Just be aware that this is a homestay experience, not an empty home you're just staying in. We had a relaxing time in a homestay with Misako and his wife.The meal was delicious.If your group is vegetarian, be clear early. Our group had low Japanese skills and the host family didn't speak English.But they went out to help as much as they could.Misako used her phone a lot to translate important messages, and I sometimes had my English speaking son call a few times to translate difficult ideas. Overall, we had a very cozy and enjoyable two-day vacation with the hosts who worked hard for us.Just note that this is a homestay experience and not a vacant home just staying in your home.

Yuka and her husband were kind hosts. Her husband came to help us checkin and showed us around the house. Beautiful place and in a calm village. Interiors are beautifully decorated and they also write a kind note for us along with some tea and cookies. We met Yuka while returning and took some pictures. We stayed with four people.It was a chilly season, but it was very comfortable inside because there was a heater and insulation was stretched around. The bath and sink were spacious, and this was also comfortable. The location was close to the station, close to the main road, and it was a rural area with no light pollution, so we could enjoy the starry sky at night. The owner, Mr. Yamamura, was very kind and taught me a lot about Tottori, Hachimoku, and motorcycles.Thank you very much. I think it's a place where you can make the most of your precious time with family and friends.I think it would be good to use it when visiting Tottori Prefecture and Hachimoto Town.

The building was a good old Japanese house as pictured, and I had a good time enjoying the countryside atmosphere.It was also good that the mattress and futon were of good quality. He is very warm and friendly with diversity of interests. He loves interdicting with ppl with music, socialising and culture. Although kitchen was not available, he heated up food for us and provided plates and cutleries so had no issue eating at home when shops were all closed over the new year period. He was very kind in taking us to his temple for new year bell striking at midnight. He is a super host.

I talked to Jun and Yoshiko about various things, and they were a kind couple.I don't know much about architectural design, but what Jun taught me allowed me to make new discoveries about the design of this building.It was a big house, but when you're in the garden, you can feel the calmness of the building, the outdoor temperature was good and it was warm even in the back!The music was always good ^ ^
