The nearest station, Kita-Kamakura, is just 20 minutes by train from Yokohama, and it is just 1 stop to the ancient capital of Kamakura.It is a 7-minute walk on a flat road from the station. Free private parking is available.Parking is available before check-in and after check-out. Ten minutes walk to Enkakuji Temple in Kamakura Gozan, 20 minutes to Kencho-ji Temple.You can also go hiking from the back mountain to the Kamakura Alps. There is a kitchen, washing machine (no drying function), and a theater room, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay even for long-term stays. For stays of 3 nights or more, you can also use the work room. It is a convenient location for sightseeing, workation, or living, and you can enjoy the seasons, history, and gourmet food of Kita Kamakura. Please refrain from staying with children under the age of 10.

There are many Zen temples in Kita Kamakura.This [Sumika Exploration House] is located in the mountains by small paths and stairs. Outside the large window is the ginkgo and the mimiji.You can see fresh greenery in spring, plenty of leaves in summer, yellow leaves and autumn foliage in autumn, and Ofuna Kannon in winter. There is no parking lot as it is only accessible by stairs.Instead, there is no sound of cars, all you can hear is the sound of birds chirping, the sound of rinsing around the roof, and the sound of the wind shaking the leaves. Go out to the garden and cut seasonal flowers in the room.I make my own coffee with a mille.There is no excessive service here, but please leave your senses open to your comfort.
