Kaji no Ura Beachside Inn Gidan

This is a small, private rental inn in the historic and quiet port town of Shinoura, where you can stay reasonably. The host renovated the house where they spent every summer vacation as a child and opened it in January 2026. It is conveniently located 2 minutes on foot from the bus stop along the sea and 1 minute on foot from the convenience store, making it the perfect base for walking around Isanoura. From the 2nd floor, you can see the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea and the nearby islands. There is also a workspace where you can work on a PC with Wi-Fi, and it is recommended for workations. There is no parking lot, so please use the coin-operated parking lot in the neighborhood.

Haus2354: 5 minutes walk to Ieura Port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
