Great stay at Nisaar's place! The location was perfect with a nice breakfast restaurant just 2 minutes away. All our needs and requests were met in a timely manner, Nisaar was responsive and helpful. This was an outstanding place for me and four friends visiting Mauritius for a week. The villa is just like on the pictures, a very private place with access to the beach. It also has a pool, two outdoor spaces with chairs and tables, a barbecue. Kavita is an exceptional host. Usha, the housekeeper, comes for a few hours every day to keep the place clean and is very friendly. Location is ideal and Kavita provided us with many recommendations.

Sharvin's place was squeaky clean and very spacious. We loved the location as it was close to chamarel, le morne, Tamarin, casela etc.. there was lots to do around. It was also close to restaurants and supermarkets. Sharvin also arranged a boat trip to see the dolphins for us and it was AMAZING! Very nice family hosting. There were some roosters from the neighbors that made some noise. But that's what you get staying in a village in Mauritius.

We stayed with Natascha for five days and were absolutely impressed with the accommodation. The garden is enchanting and so large, there are your own mango trees that you can also harvest! The house is simple, but totally cozy, open and clean! Natascha has an incredibly good sense of style - but the place is practical, likeable - and very close to nature. We absolutely loved it and would recommend the place without ifs or buts.

Excellent stay in Diane's house, perfectly as described. The location by the sea is ideal especially for families with small children. Beautiful garden and very generously equipped house, very welcoming and thought for lazing around. The very frequent maid service is a plus, thank you so much to Nisha! We had a small problem with the lounge chair during the stay, repaired almost illico. Simple and very fluid communication, much appreciated. We'll be happy to come back next year, thank you again Diane and Clara for a lovely stay.

Had a pleasure to stay for almost a month at Geraldine's lovely countryside house (or "barn", as the name suggests). The location of the house is hard to beat: it's on the second line from the ocean, surrounded by lovely mansions and right in front of the kite surfing school. Geraldine has managed to accommodate all our requests in an expedite manner and did not leave us in problem, despite certain complications in the village of Grand Gaube. Please bear in mind that Grand Gaube is a fairly authentic Mauritian village, not yet invaded by tourist crowds - as a result, certain amenities regular for big cities are missing here (e.g. a breakfast spot with decent coffee, a modern co-working space, etc.) - thus, renting a car would be a sensible choice.

Brand new apartment in a semi-private street, at the end of a very narrow secondary road and where cars struggle to pass. Very close to the embarkation of boat trips for the aux cerfs and the islands of the southeast. Beautiful and new decor, very large spaces, especially super bathroom. Quite stocked kitchen, nice terrace where you can stay on the coolest nights. The only real flaw is the absence of air conditioning in the living room/kitchen, which is hot at exaggerated levels. There is a fan that helps but does not replace the air conditioning: either you stay cool in the room or on the terrace, but it's the only real defect in the house. Overall highly recommended especially for a group of 4 people. David, the host, very helpful, responsive, friendly and we really appreciated that he helped us find a solution at the last second for the boat trip. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay in a quiet, secure property, surrounded by sugar canes. Tropical birds and plants punctuated our days. We felt at home: ultra complete kitchen equipment, including a Weber BBQ grill... hot water booster... Canal Sat. The pool oscillates between 26 and 30 degrees. What about the hospitality and kindness of the owners, Ginette and Martin? Always listening, good advice, we were welcomed as guests! Anyway, great! A car is essential, ask Ginette for advice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marvin's and Marlene's place. Communication was easy and check-in and -out very flexible. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. They gave us local recommendations and were always up to talk. Moreover, they offered us some local dishes for dinner that were prepared by a friend. It was tasty, we recommend! Although there is not too much to do in Albion, it is peaceful and has a beautiful and not at all crowded beach within walking distance. We would recommend having a car to get around. All in all, do not hesitate to stay at Marvin's and Marlene's place!

We had a great time in the villa Les Dunes. The house is large (note, the master suite is far from the children's rooms, perfect when the children are not very young) and its location is very private. The terrace is very functional and the ocean view is stunning. The pool is very nice and very well maintained. Rati, who took care of us during the stay is a gem: preparation of breakfasts and a delicious meal every day, absolute luxury!! Great kindness and discretion, we couldn't have been better! The beach in front is accessible on foot directly from the house, be careful however it is not ideal for swimming (wind and waves, rocks, algae, a little pollution), but perfect for fishing, crab racing and beautiful shells!

We had a great time at Christophe's, he was extremely available and put us in touch with his local contacts to help us discover Mauritius off the beaten track. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos, it is quiet and at the same time close to everything, including the beach and major accesses. It is private and very well maintained. Me and three friends were travelling through Mauritius and spend our first two nights in Florian’s house. It was easy to find it and we were able to check in although we arrived 30 minutes prior the official check-in time. The first impression of the house is exactly as the pictures and the text indicates. The shared areas and our private room was even larger then expected and everything has been in perfect condition. Florian and his team who took care of everything were super friendly. We totally enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend to spend some time here.

The villa is very comfortable, very well decorated that gives a cocooning look: you feel at home. Its tropical garden is very nice and translates the Mauritian atmosphere well. In addition, it is very well located in a very quiet area guaranteeing peaceful nights while being a few hundred meters from the lively life of Grand Bay and its fabulous surrounding beaches. However, a car is required. Finally, Mathilde is very kind, flexible, always attentive to needs who will also advise you very well on excursions to do, beaches, restaurants ... We will be back without hesitation with great pleasure.

Very large and spacious housing. There is a multifunctional kitchen with different appliances. Beautiful backyard with sofas and lawn. You can rent a comfortable car for travelling around the island.

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!
