It is an old house built over 100 years ago, like a Kyoto townhouse, located on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, called Koedo in Boso. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. Ota's bamboo shoots are famous for their delicious flavor with little bitterness, and they are best eaten from late March to late April. If you go a little further, there is the sea, mountains, rivers, valleys, and black water hot springs.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.The Chibanyan is world famous for fishing for smelt in Lake Takataki and for the magnetic reversal that happened hundreds of thousands of years ago.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located overlooking the Isuzu River, and the ground is bedrock. We renovated the old house where my grandmother once lived as much as possible with our own hands. Kujukuri Beach, which is a short walk away, is a memorable place where relatives and friends have gathered and had a lively time. I wanted to make it a place full of smiles again, like it was back then, so I've been working on it little by little. Now, with high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi and a sauna, it is a space where you can relax with your family, couples, and friends. One of the charming things about this house is that the cats that live nearby visit the garden at will. It is the perfect location for those who want to enjoy a quiet time by the sea. We have yoga mats, foot massagers, folding chairs and sleeping chairs that can be used in the sea, carts, 2 bicycles, sandpit sets and children's toys, chairs, toilet seats, picture books, hanging tents, and other facilities that are great for small children. This is a "very old building" that seems to have been built in the early Showa era. It used to be a dried fish shop. It is a long row house with a very unique construction. The dirt floor right from the entrance, the strangely small living room, the steep stairs, the slightly sloping second floor, etc., are inconvenient everywhere. We renovated it to make it comfortable while preserving the appearance of the time. The location of the inn is in a good location, just behind Katsuura Asaichi Street, along the shopping district. It's close to Katsuura Port, so you can easily go fishing. In the morning, you can buy fresh vegetables and dried goods at the morning market, take a break at a locally famous coffee shop, visit a nearby temple, or bathe at Matsu-no-Yu, the oldest public bath in Chiba Prefecture! There are also various reasonably priced bars with good atmospheres nearby. It's a great place to relax under a tent while listening to the waves, and the whole family can enjoy themselves freely. Please come. Pets are limited to dogs up to 60 cm in length. It will be 2,000 yen per dog. Please let us know when you book if you are bringing a dog. (We have dog shampoo and sheets) Please do not let dogs into the Japanese-style room. The Konami Beach is right in front of you, so please remove any sand before entering the room. You can use the wood-burning fireplace from November to February of the following year.
