Vacation rentals with lake access in Tochigi

Thank you so much! It was nostalgic because it was an elementary school, and I really enjoyed it!

The resort is located right in front of lake Chuzenji. The scenery from the room is amazing especially in the morning. There are also deers roaming around the resort if you’re lucky enough to see them. The location is also near trekking path around the lake. It’s also a short drive to Yunoko lake area. We also had bonfire and the resort manager, Junya, helped us set it up. He was willing to share many things about the Nikko region. The dinner and breakfast were great. They serve fusion dishes for dinner and traditional Japanese meal for breakfast. The portion is generous and they use quality ingredients. Very worth the money. Will definitely come back if we visit Japan again.

No issues with the Airbnb or area, we just happened to go during off season when it was snowy which I would advise against. I imagine this is a great option during the summer peak

We had a great experience staying at the house. there was more than enough room and there were heaters for the cold. There are not many restaurant nearby, but we didn't mind! it's a good place if you are in Nikko for hiking or visiting shrines since there is a bus stop nearby.

We stayed as a friend's birthday celebration, and it was a very nice space and we had a pleasant stay. The place and people are all lovely and satisfied. I wanted to use it again!

Initially, i had accidentally booked for one guest but Sunada was quick to help our situation as set us up in a private. We also got driven to the supermarket free of charge thanks to his kindness! The house is very clean, the rooms are cozy with great views all around and the common area creates for a super social area if you’re up for it. The area the house is in is filled with lush flora which makes it great to take strolls or creating a good vibe for running or any type of exercise. Lastly, Sunada was a great host and i would recommend this place to stay at as i would come back again!

Very quiet Japanese-style accommodation. It's a great location for visiting the Nikko area, close to the train station. Use the GPS point or the host's instructions to get to the listing. Restaurants are reached by foot from the apartment.

Hiro is an exceptional host! Staying with someone like him is what makes traveling & homestays truly special. His communication was excellent, always prompt & attentive, & he had a great sense of anticipating my needs. Hiro went above and beyond by thoughtfully recommending an itinerary for my last day in Japan, which I deeply appreciated. Hiro's shuttle service to/from the Shimoimachi train station made exploring Nikko without a car much easier. I slept wonderfully - the room was warm and cozy. The highlight of my stay was definitely the onsen Hiro prepared for me each night, allowing me to unwind & warm up after a full day of walking in the snow. Without Hiro, my experience in Nikko wouldn’t have been the same!
