Looking for a quiet mountain lake retreat? Look no further. We booked for Christmas and had the best time. It snowed 6 inches upon arrival! Sunsets were stunning on the lake. The house is large enough for a big family and we loved the open plan kitchen and living room. The soaring stone fireplace made it super cozy. Even the teenagers wanted to hang out! Really comfortable couches and large family dining was so enjoyable for our holiday dinner. Kent made sure of everything you would need to spend time here. Not to mention the wildlife on the lakefront which was so nice to watch from the big windows. I felt very much at home and am already looking forward to rebooking for summertime. Thanks Kent!

House was perfect for the boys get away weekend. Easy to get in, plenty of fun things to do in and around the house. The game room was awesome for poker and pool and playing basketball!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place in Long Pond! The house was beautifully updated, very comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group—two kids under 10, and four adults (parents and grandparents). The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view with a small private beach and access to paddle boats, kayaks, canoe, and a dock—perfect for both quiet mornings and family fun. The backyard was incredibly picturesque, surrounded by beautiful foliage that made it feel like a private retreat. We really appreciated thoughtful touches like the shed stocked with life vests and beach toys, as well as the outdoor fire stove. Inside, the game room was a hit—especially the Nintendo 64 and air hockey table, which kept everyone entertained. We couldn’t have asked for a better spring break getaway. I stayed here with 6 friends, the place was very homey. I loved the cute little accents to the house that provided a vibe like no other! The bedrooms were so comfortable. Going to local stores was not much of a hassle. The home has pots and pans, and cooking utensils if it is ever needed. There is a cute lake 4 minutes of a walk to sit down on the ledge and dip your feet in for a nice relaxation. We were not able to use the lake for swimming purposes due to the weather, but it is a great place if you want a weekend getaway or that of some sort with a group of close friends and family. Samantha was more than great at accommodating, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service to us! We appreciate her attentiveness and all around care during our stay. Thank you Samantha for your hospitality.

My friend and I had a great time staying here! The house is cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. There were so many things to do in the area and on the property—we just didn’t have enough time to experience it all. It was a great spot to relax and unwind. While everything went smoothly and there were no major issues, there's just a tiny bit of room for improvement. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Had a wonderful stay! The property is right across from the lake and the view was breathtaking! Great location to visit many of the beautiful hiking trails in the area. One of the must haves for our trip was access to a golf cart and Mamta made sure it was on the property, ready for us when we arrived. Peaceful, relaxing, Pocono, retreat!

We would like to thank Kevin for the excellent house we rented. We live incredible moments among friends and without a doubt we will return again. The house fulfills everything that is advertised, it is beautiful, cozy and very comfortable.

Had a little weekend getaway celebrating my fiancés birthday. The place is situated in a private, secured neighborhood (you’re given a visitor’s pass that will suffice for the duration of your trip). We chose this place to fish the lake and avoid having to drive to a nearby location, but we were unfortunately unable to hook into anything — we were told there were several species of fish residing there, though. We visited an alpaca farm 15 minutes away, was able to find very good wings and a great dinner spot, fed some deer, and enjoyed the quiet! This house is a very basic, nothing extravagant type of vibe but it suited its purpose for the weekend we were there. Stocked with coffee, board games, tvs in every room, a fire pit, boats (when available), utensils and kitchenware, AC/Heated, and several beds. Overall, I would recommend. The host was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful, as well! Shoutout to them for all the information and patience!

No nonsence house with tranquil immediate surrounding and close proximity to ski slops. Great for couple of days of mountain ski trip.

We had such a perfect stay at Camp Chicory. I’d traveled there along with three old friends, and it was a wonderful spot to spend time in and reconnect. We had grand plans to take advantage of outdoor winter adventures in the Poconos, but when the weather was uncooperative, we were more than happy to just stay inside all day instead! The kitchen has everything you’d need for lots of cooking, with a cute mug collection to enjoy that hot chocolate bar. The shower pressure was magical, and the beds were super comfortable. Oh how we loved the eclectic record collection, and only wished we’d had time to enjoy more of it! But truly, the MVP of our weekend was the wood burning stove, which provided the perfect cozy atmosphere to enjoy quality time with friends. Moira and her team were top notch communicators, both before and during our stay — always available with a quick response to answer our questions. Believe the reviews — you won’t be disappointed. I wish I were back there right now!

My experience was beyond amazing. Nikki was thoughtful, accommodating, and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Situated in a beautiful area of Lake Ariel, the house had everything and more in terms of amenities. I would recommend this house to any and everyone looking for a fun and peaceful trip to Lake Ariel!

Great place and very well-stocked kitchen! Perfect for a winter getaway ")

The house was overall nice tucked back into a wooded community. Not too far from a lot of activities and places to see. They should consider a deeper clean/ replacing or removing old carpet from living space, there were two toasters and no microwave. There was something sprayed in the house upon arrival that did make my throat tight (not sure if it was a room spray and I have asthma) Getting into the community from the time of getting the QR code to getting to the actual house was about 14 mins. We paid a lot to even get into the community and really there should be some kind of reduced cost when all The amenities aren’t available during “off seasons” 68 dollars to just be able to drive into the community with 2 cars on top of the rental. Overall a comfortable stay and we had a nice time

The chalet is perfectly located in charming WLE, a quiet, family friendly community on the lake. Has all the amenities you’d need (paddle board, kayak, grill, cornhole, bonfire) for a fun-filled weekend. 15 minute walk from WLE’s marina. Our group of friends had a great time playing games, painting, and enjoying the spacious chalet. WiFi was fast and supported multiple calls at once, even extended onto the deck. Thank you, Carolyn, for being a responsive and kind host! Well stocked closets with towels, linens galore, and pantry. She even let us check in a little early for free :) Would recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil lake getaway.

We loved Holly’s place! It is so well organized and cozy. Holly is very communicative too. I felt like we were staying with a good friend versus a rental. The layout worked perfectly for our family too. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our week at this peaceful lakehouse. The house itself was clean and comfortable, kitchen renovations are beautiful and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Linens were plentiful and soft, not always the case for vacation rentals. We appreciated the picturesque views from the main upper floor on rainy and sunny days alike. The private beach and cool stone fire pit were well-used and an added bonus. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock and grilling outside. Our kids enjoyed the access to nature on the property, it felt very private and serene, a contrast to our usual city life. James was very responsive and informative both before and during our stay.
