We stayed at Eddys Place for a weekend and had the best time. It was nice and peaceful, and a very clean environment. House was fully stocked with things we needed , and many things to do like shoot pool, or use the hot tub. We really enjoyed our time and hope to come back someday!

The space was as described and pictured! The adults and children enjoyed the open concept, game room, and outdoor space.

My husband and I had a great weekend celebrating our anniversary. The house was very clean and was just as described. The hot tub was great. Yard was private and relaxing. Just what we needed. Close to Bushkill falls which was beautiful.

I have been to many places but this house was top notch I'm glad I got to stay there with my family. everyone was very happy with the property. I would like to stay in the summer as well

The cabin is adorable, cozy, and gives the rustic, mountain feel. It is in walking distance to the lake and restaurants. Wildlife is plentiful, as the deer come frequently and look at you when you talk to them, and I even got to see one of the resident bears. The cabin is well stocked with kitchen wear, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and coffee additives.. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay!! Home is unique and spacious. Great common areas but the layout of the house also allows for some privacy if someone wants to go to bed early, nap etc. which was ideal for our family. Outdoor space is beautiful! lots of wildlife to admire. Fishing ponds were the highlight of my 15yr olds stay. He caught perch, brook trout, brown trout and rainbows! We all had a blast and can’t wait to go back! Did a few day excursions to Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run and a few other stops, all a quick trip from ‘home’! Gary was attentive and extremely welcoming! Great host!

I'll be honest, I don't really write reviews. This house is my exception. This property exceeded every expectation my family and I had for our vacation. The property was accurately described with every amenity imaginable! Additionally, the extra touches on the property made our stay comfortable and really memorable. We had never been to the Poconos before, and this property elevated our experiences. We plan to return and hopefully stay in this home again. Finally, Penpa's communication was second to none. Every step of the trip the host provided detailed instructions, quick support with any questions, and reasonable flexibility with requests that made their property the best experience my wife or I have ever had with Airbnb in the 13 years we've used the service. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful experience. Your home is something special, and the way you run your property is exceptional. We really appreciated it.

Amazing surroundings and lake view, house comfortable accommodated my huge family of 16. Has everything, all utensils mentioned. We had multiple sightings of deers right on our backyard which was awesome for the kids. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The host and her husband were extremely responsive and helpful. During our 4 day stay we did not have any issues. Amazing family memories made. Thank you!

We had a great stay here. The home felt cozy and spacious for a large family. The home was also very clean and free of clutter. Great space for families with kids. The jacuzzi was great touch, specially on the cooler mornings. Would book again, strongly recommended!

House is very big and spacious. Lots of sitting area. House was clean. Backyard is amazing . I wish the pool was heated. It was very cold. He did specify that it wasn’t heated but it would have been a plus. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the game room. We also hung out at the club house and enjoyed the sprinkler park, pools and tennis court. Kids had such a blast. We had a great vacation.

This place is a 10/10. It had so much fun stuff to do in the house that we didn’t even need to leave! I definitely want to book again in the summer so we can enjoy the hammock and the fire pit, unfortunately it was raining and snowed. But it was still a blast! I loved it!

Our family loved staying at Elyse's home! The big kids had a blast playing the games in the basement while the grown-ups enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Elyse went out of her way to ensure the driveway and walkways were salted as there was a lot of ice. She was a wonderful host and we would definitely return!

Spent a weekend here and I am absolutely going back. I was looking for a peaceful, beautiful and cozy place to just disconnect and recharge and this beautiful home was that and more. We had trouble getting in the house but Bernadette responded quickly and got it taken care of right away. I did not want to leave lol. Highly recommend!!

She also recommended local places, sent us events going on during our stay, and told us their favorite things to do in the community which was great and helped us decide what to prioritize during our weekend trip! The lake was stunning and we saw tons of wildlife! We had an amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better host! Thank you for letting us stay!!

Was a great stay! Nice location private but not way out of the way that couldn’t reach local attractions easily. Very clean and comfortable accommodations - very well stocked with most basics you would need. The pups loved the yard!

I had the most wonderful experience. From the moment me and my family arrived, we were blown away by how impeccably clean the entire space was. Everything was spotless, from the floors to the bathroom, the beds were extremely comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. The area is so peaceful, my dog had a ball being able to enjoy open space. The host was absolutely amazing, super friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. Communication was seamless, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I have already recommended this place to my friends and other family members, and I’ll definitely be back! 5 stars all the way!

Perfect place for us—2 retired’s, 2 of our grown children, their spouses, a grandbaby and 2 dogs! Plenty of room, great kitchen and dr table to accommodate all. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs; the rest of property frequented by many deer which was fun to view. Screened porch great plus. Much fun in game room. Big screen TV’s great for our sports viewing. Great neighborhood for walking. The mattress in mbr too firm for one of us but the other liked. Elyse very responsive to any inquiry though hardly necessary. Every need thoughtfully anticipated. Great host. Even left welcome tray of goodies and fire starters. We liked every restaurant we tried nearby—Forks, Butter, PourHouse, Taproom @Skytop—and great grocery store down the street. Beautiful home, great area, and would definitely stay here again.

It was a quaint stay peaceful I got some really good rest. Enjoyed the scenery see a ton of deer along my weekend stay and in the area. Definitely worth it. Extremely clean, pristine on cleanliness. Had an issue with the shower, but it was because I had no idea how to use it. The owner contacted me let me know exactly how to use it. Definitely responsive and extremely sweet. Thank you Andrea

We had an amazing time at Vanessa's mountain retreat despite the weather not cooperating! The location along the river was peaceful and the community provided an easy hike when the rain broke. The cabin kept us cozy by the fireside with plenty of space for the 6 of us on this girl's weekend to curl up and watch movies and enjoy each other's company. Would go again and hope for better weather to get out and explore the area.
