We had a wonderful time at Saijo with Taka as a perfect host. The cabin is very spacious and equipped with everything you will need to stay for a few days or more. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath and benefitted from Taka's recommendations for sightseeing in the area. Taka offered to pick us up from Saijo station but we had our own rented car which made it much easier to get around in the area. (The last section of the road to the house is very narrow, so it's recommended to arrive during the daytime.) If you have time and travel through this part of Shikoku, we greatly recommend staying at Taka's cabin! :)

Private lodging in the suburbs of Kure City

We enjoyed the homestay provided by Mr. Guizhou, originally just staying for one night before leaving Japan, I didn't expect because of Mr. Guizi's friendliness and warmth, so we have super nice memories in Wu City!In addition to introducing the rules of use of the house in English, we also accept the invitation to take a bird's eye view of the Inland Sea from the Takayudai Observatory, and visit the active and retired submarines that military fans are most anticipated, Mr. Katsura is also scheduled for us who can't speak Japanese, and finally the current guide will take us to the parking lot and confirm the parking lot location. The dedication of everything has touched us, and we will deeply appreciate the respect and the friendly bond of Taiwan!I highly recommend this human-like homestay, and thank you again Mr. Katsubi for making a wonderful end to our trip!

A rural home where you can spend hours relaxing

Beautiful traditional house on the edge of small town . The area is rural , off the beaten track, with small farms- rice, vegetables and dairy . It is peaceful here but we were recommended a lively Izakaya where we ate and drank well .

Wooden house in the mountain with a big garden

If you’re on for a bit of an adventure, or just want to get away from it all and truly immerse yourself in Shikoku’s beautiful natural beauty, then Sono’s wooden house in the woods is the place for you. We slept so soundly in the room upstairs and felt right at home. We just wished we could have stayed longer. Sono also went to the effort to send my husband’s kindle to us after he forgot it, which we appreciated immensely. Thank you for everything, Sono!

My friends and I really enjoyed your home. It is very spacious and quite close to dogo city center. The walk was quite strenuous due to the elevation but the view to the walk was nice. Paul is very responsive to our needs and questions. We had a great time! Thank you!
