Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Unique and family-friendly summerhouse. The house consists of two bedrooms and a nice large kitchen/living room. The terrace is huge and surrounded by a fenced garden. The garden is more or less overgrown with paths that are regularly cut. The house can be heated with fireplace, wood-burning stove and heat pump and there is both a washing machine and dishwasher. Arresø is a 5-minute walk from the summerhouse and 10 minutes away is Tinggården. The area is characterized by nature and summer houses. Lovely beaches within cycling distance.

In the house there is a wood-burning stove and heat pump. There are also charging stations if you come in an electric car. Definitely a must-see home.

Hornbæk - two minutes from Hornbæk Plantage

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a two-minute walk to Hornbæk Plantage. It is a dog forest and it only takes 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in the bed, chair, sofa and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
