Of our three tiny houses at Bugs in a Jar Farm, Seahorse in the Pines is our most popular. It offers the most seclusion and privacy for those wanting to get away from the crowds. As the name implies, it also offers deep shade most of the hot summer. Relax in the hammock under the pines or on the private screened porch, and enjoy the hilltop breeze. Seahorse has its own private outhouse, although the community bathroom and kitchen are a short walk away. There is private off-street parking nearby.

The Vardo - a charming bohemian caravan

Stay overnight in a vardo, a unique and charming bohemian-style caravan inspired by 19th century English and Irish shepherd's huts. This cozy space sleeps 2 people and includes a cooking facilities, indoor and outdoor seating and free firewood. The bath house has includes a modern composting toilet, solar shower stall and hand/dish washing station. We are located close to wineries, state parks with gorges & waterfalls, lakes, the vibrant city of Ithaca, Cornell University and Ithaca College.

Unplugged (no WiFi) and peaceful. We provide breakfast foods. Unfortunately we cannot provide fresh breakfasts at this time, to keep our prices the same, with inflation. We hope to again in the future, if the current costs go down. A family built, tiny, timber frame. We are in a farming community, and several Amish farms dot our road. Tinyhouse 2 -- Off the grid. This tinyhouse gem is newly refinished with fresh paint hardwood floor for now it is a finished lean too so bring your sleeping bag and a pillow. The space has heat and electricity so you can charge your cell phone. Across from Upper Buttermilk Falls State Park A portable bathroom with an electric light is your bathroom. This is a NO SMOKING PROPERTY Park next to outhouse. Outside shower and new A/C!!
