Welcome to The Sows Ear @ Rahui 🐷. 45 mins east of Masterton. A renovated cottage in the beautiful established Rahui gardens 🌸 You cant get much more rural than this. No phones, no wifi , just good old fashioned being 'present', hanging out with Mother Nature, listening to the birds, and enjoying the company you are with. Rahui has 3 houses on it, We are in the front house. You may see us walking about, or quad bikes. Rent the ebikes for a sweet as ride to the coast. Two great pubs near by

Relax 10 minutes from town in a charming country cottage with all mod cons. Close enough to amenities to explore town but quiet enough to see and hear the tui's, kereru and Ruru (morepork owls) at night. This is a luxury self contained Tiny house. Nestled on the edge of a pond surrounded by expansive gardens and farmland. There are some small walking tracks to take you around the QE ll Trust wetland and ponds, and for those that are a little more energetic a walk to the top of the hill can provide you with stunning views. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy an outdoor wood fire bath over looking the pond! Unfortunately cell ph reception can be patchy at the Tiny house.

Large Family house near Castlepoint

This place is a spacious house on a large section 2 Kms inland at Castlepoint on the Wairarapa East Coast. Dogs are fine. To keep the costs down all you need to bring is linen/towels, give the place a clean afterwards and take your rubbish with you ready for the next guest. If you are after fully serviced accommodation then this probably isn't the place for you. If you read the reviews most people have been happy with this arrangement and we have many repeat guests.
