House vacation rentals in Tickfaw

My family and I wanted to go to the strawberry festival in Ponchatoula, but didn’t want to be close to the traffic at all, and this was the perfect place. You fall asleep to the crickets and frogs outside, and then wake up to birds out of your window. It’s a quiet and private little space with a beautiful view of the river and sunset. Getting to the place was alright, the twist and turns on the sidewalk caught me by surprise, but that doesn’t bring down my rating, cause after getting used to it, its’s fun to ride along where the gators play. I would 10/10 stay here again, it was a nice get away.

If you are looking for a place to stay while in Louisiana I definitely recommend Richard’s place in Hammond, Louisiana. Richard’s home is extremely clean, private, has all the amenities one can ask for. Besides that Richard goes above and beyond for his guests. He is fast at responding and returning any questions you may have. I would most definitely stay here again when I return to visit my family in Louisiana. Thank you Richard for being a great HOST.

The best family vacation we’ve had to date! The Landing was immaculate! Melinda thought of everything!!! The neighborhood was safe and everyone was so kind! Each day we took off for a new adventure. You can go an hour or less in any direction and find something amazing to do! We loved coming home each evening to relax at The Landing! We will 100% be back!

We were in the area for a bowling tournament, the property was an easy 30-40 minute drive into Baton Rouge, There is plenty of games and entertainment for guests at the property. It is a great place to relax. We would definitely stay at this property again if in the area.

Donna and John’s place is peaceful, relaxing and overall fantastic. The beds are so comfortable. They even have fishing poles you can use!! Sitting out in the screened porch with morning coffee is a must! If we are ever travel to Maurepas again we will definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for a week and a half. The place was a nice cozy cottage with everything we needed. It was a rural setting with a very large yard and porch. Although it was too cold when we visited , it would have been perfect to sit on the porch at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Great house!!! Large rooms all with their own unique character. The pool was beautiful. Massive well appointed kitchen. Great house and great hosts. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Casa Del Rio was a wonderful place to chill. The place was HUGE. I think all of us (6 women) were doing our makeup in the Master bathroom at once, its about the size of a large kitchen! The kitchen and family room are an open concept and located right off the hot tub & pool area, so that was great for social circulation. the house is VERY remote, but there are a couple really good local restaurants about 5 min away. There is a grocery store about 10 min away. We saw a gecko on the out side of the house, and an aligator in the river as soon as we got there! Chris, the host was very responsive, and even proactive about communication. He also had 2 other people (sub hosts?) that were ready to jump in and help if needed. wonderful stay.

Had a wonderful time! House was very clean and cozy. We caught a few fish! We will be back soon

We had a great stay at Stephen’s place! Everything was as expected and described. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The place was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There was plenty of space for our family, and the kids and my husband loved the dock. Plus, Walmart and plenty of places to eat were just 8-10 minutes away. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful state of Louisiana and having a relaxing place to come back to!

Cannot express enough how nice this home and land is. I will definitely be staying again when visiting. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and good location to everything needed. Myself and friends were very comfortable and at peace at this location.

Brought my in-laws and they wanted a place near the water and quiet. Anna’s place fit that description perfectly. About 6 miles from downtown Ponchatoula where they have several nice restaurants to eat at. Overall a great get away!

Stayed here for Strawberry Festival, four young ladies age 70 plus - It was always such a welcome retreat to return to after being at the hot and crowded festival - We loved Carla’s place, looked exactly like pictures - Decorated cute for Easter - The coffee bar, snacks and water in fridge were a big plus - Would love to stay here if back in the area -

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. It was by far the most comfortable, well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in. The location was in a beautiful neighborhood close to Southeastern Louisiana University. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay!

Melissa’s place was amazing! The house is beautiful and very clean. The neighborhood was great. Melissa was very pleasant to talk to, she sent recommendations for restaurants. The house was very family friendly for our 3 kids. It had plenty of toys to keep them entertained and very spacious. We high recommend this house!!

Whitney was an absolute doll and her home was fantastic. Gorgeous inside and out. A place that felt completely like home. ♥️

Wonderful stay!!

I do not know where to begin...When we entered home all of of immediately said we need to go ahead and book for next year. Home has been well taken care of, I wouldn't change anything.

The house was quiet, private and very clean. The host was very responsive and checked up on us. The location is peaceful and easy to get to the highway to go to NOLA. The amenities were plentiful and very appreciated! We would stay there again if in the area.

Heidi was very responsive and friendly. Her proactive instructions on directions and check in were spot on. The home was a great base as we were there to visit family. Full kitchen amenities made it easy to make a few meals at home. A close by grocery store was convenient as well. The home was very clean and the perfect place for our family of four plus in-laws!

Absolutely incredible stay at The Rose Mound on the Blood River! Steven was an outstanding host—super accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for me and my crew of six. The peaceful nature setting was exactly what we needed. We spent time relaxing by the river, exploring the Indian mounds, and just soaking in the vibe of the place. The log cabin living room had that cozy, rustic charm, and the outdoor deck was the perfect spot for hanging out and enjoying the view. We had an absolute blast and are already talking about our next trip back. Can’t recommend The Rose Mound enough!

The house was absolutely gorgeous, and so peaceful. My only complaint was I couldn't stay longer. host was really nice and helpful when I had questions. I would defiantly book again.

The house was a good size. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The neighbor was nice. I felt comfortable and safe with the surroundings. This property is close to family so I feel sure I will be staying again in the future.
