Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Waterfront Home

Come relax and take in the sites at this waterfront house on the bayou! You’re welcome to bring a pole and fish off the dock or hop in a kayak and explore the swamp. The outside deck is equipped for boat/jet ski docking, and the canal leads to the Tickfaw River. There is plenty of room inside and out to spend quality time with friends and family. It is 10 minutes to local dining and 45 minutes to Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans. There are 4 kayaks available!

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and making memories. Quiet country setting on a dead end road with a huge yard. There are 2 large living rooms and tvs in each bedroom. There is a game room with a foose ball table and boardgames too. This house has a large kitchen with 2 refrigerators and has all you need for cooking.
