Beach house vacation rentals in Thrumster

The long house was a magical place for a family vacation. Kevin and Gudrun were really helpful when needed and provided us lots of space to do our thing too. Would highly recommend for a spot to disconnect and slow down!

We loved Anthony’s home, it was so beautiful and peaceful. The pool, backyard and views were the highlight. The house is a little run down but that is to be expected for a property that allows pets. That being said, it had everything we needed for our weekend away with our dogs who loved the dog beach across the road and the enclosed back yard. The fruit and veg garden were an added pleasure also! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thanks for having us.

Wow...this magnificent little bungalow perched halfway up the hill from Lighthouse Beach (only 80 m away through the little forest path) was a wonderful little haven to get some headspace while here in Port Macquarie. The view is absolutely beautiful and I was blessed with a full moon rising over the lighthouse point and also the magnificent Western sunsets. Everything you needed had already been thought of and was magnificently laid out. The Swimming Pool was magnificent to be able to just jump in and knock off a few laps to unwind from a long day. Thank you Anne for letting me stay in your beautiful little bungalow.

We had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whole family went crazy at the super modernised heated pool. Kids didn’t want to go anywhere and always looked forward to come back home during our stay. Such a serene place to stay and same as described by our beautiful host Skye. Host was proactive and detailed in providing instructions. Stunning views, the mighty sounds of the waves truly mesmerised us. Would 100% recommend to all. Only thing is it didn’t have air conditioner , but i am sure host will get it soon as the house gets extremely hot during the day but at night and early morning it was pleasantly breezy and a lot cooler.

It was a clean fenced property, brought my 3 yr old covoodle puppy for his very 1st getaway. he loved the front yard to play. Wish there was outdoor chairs or bench to sit n enjoy the front yard. There is a beautiful small BBQ area at the back but felt really warm to sit there. also recommend a quieter ac unit for the rooms. enjoyed the free games/cards n kitchen necessities . will recommend.

We had a great stay at Joanna’s place! The kitchen was well-stocked and the food left for us was much appreciated! It was very comfortable staying there and handy having one bathroom per bedroom. Sadly it was raining whilst we were staying so we couldn’t really make the most of the beach but it was literally a minutes walk away- across the road! We loved the outdoor area which was partly still undercover in rainy weather. Thanks Joanna.

Eileen was a wonderful host for us. The house was lovely, easygoing, clean and well stocked with appliances and kitchen and bathroom necessities. Although there is no air conditioning there is plenty of windows to let the breeze in. The pool was great and big; plenty of room to swim, lounge and relax. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood with short distance to beaches and town. Great location. We had a great time felt right at home. Thank you Eileen

Our family of 5 loved staying here. There was lots to do at the home and within 5 minutes drive/15 min walk. Beaches are really close by and the private pool was divine. There was enough room for both, teenagers and parents, to have some quiet time but still spend time together as a family. Beds were comfortable and the home was well appointed with everything you’d need. The welcome folder was a handy source of local recommendations. Simon was a friendly host, with fantastic communication. Port Macquarie has so much to do and no one ever complained that they were bored! We would highly recommend this home, hopefully we will stay again soon!

Visited for the third time! This place has quickly become a favourite that we’re keen to go back to. Clean, spacious, amazing location and friendly/accomodating host. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

A great conveniently located home. Walkable to all the amenities. Kids loved the pool! Beds were comfy. Lots of space for a family of four, particularly with the extra living area downstairs. Thanks so much for hosting us Mel.

The unit was lovely very clean easy access, quiet area not far from the town, communication with Bec was excellent would recommend at stay.

Near the Beach was our perfect getaway. The house had everything we needed...and more...(ping pong!) Clean, cosy, well appointed and homey. Kristina is a wonderful host. And who doesn't love what Crescent Head and surrounds have to offer. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is extremely comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was better equipped than my own at home, which made self-catering a breeze! And having a very effective washing machine and dryer was really important as we were staying on a wet weekend for a hockey carnival in Taree. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Pros; Place looked great, good facilities (Dishwasher/washing machine/dryer), ample aircons, lovely outdoor area, nice deck Cons; so so tv setup with apple play, No tv in main bed, webber bbq only lights up 3/4s of burner outdoor trees overgrown in yard 4/5

Thanks so much Leah and Nigel for being such great hosts. The whole family had a fantastic time. Our daughter loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach was ideal. The property was large to accomodate all of us and there were all the amenities we needed including a thoughtful gesture of leaving some Easter eggs for Easter. Thanks for a great stay! We loved our family getaway at the bunker! Was perfect for our tribe. Loved our nightly campfires, that was a highlight for me to top off our fun filled days on the water! Would def love to stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Alison's place! The boho vibe, with its indoor plants and abundant natural light, created a cozy atmosphere. The home is fully equipped and conveniently located near town and the surf making it easy to explore. I highly recommend this charming holiday house for anyone looking to relax and enjoy their surroundings!
