Dunesview Beach House at Sandbanks-Pass Included

SarahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A lovely cabin with great facilities at hand including bicycles and kayak. Lisa and Gerry made us very welcome. The location is excellent for the national park- the free entry pass included is a nice touch. All mod and cons in the cabin. There is a ceiling fan to help keep cooler. Lisa and Gerry were extremely accommodating with our extra requests.
A quaint cottage is set against a lush green backdrop, featuring a Canadian flag gently fluttering in the breeze. A fire pit with arranged log seating is located in the grassy area, providing a cozy gathering space. The cottage has multiple windows allowing natural light.

Cherry Valley Cottage on East Lake (STA licenced)

CailinRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My friends and I had another wonderful stay at Janet's cottage in Cherry Valley. The floors were completely updated, and made the place look fresh and clean. The new oven worked perfectly as well. Janet makes sure that the cottage is stocked with linens, towels, propane, movies, kitchen equipment, and even a pass for Sandbanks beach nearby. Looking forward to returning and continuing our yearly tradition at this beautiful place!

Upper Rideau Guest House

JoelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Lisa’s cottage was exactly as advertised. She made sure to answer any inquiries and the property was wonderful for relaxing by the lake on the gazebo. Our fishing trip was fun and the access to the dock was very easy. The cottage was perfect for our stay and had everything needed for a nice stay on the lake. Lisa checked in with us a few times to ensure everything was fine and even provided a short history of the lake. Highly recommended cottage and we hope to return next year! Thanks again!

A little slice of heaven in the country! The Miller’s home was larger than I expected. The pictures don’t do it justice. It had everything we needed and was the perfect getaway for a long weekend in PEC.

Little Ben Prince Edward County

AsherRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fantastic weekend stay just at the start of the "low" season in early Nov. Being meters from the shoreline with the sound of the waves and picture-window view of Lake Ontario was just what we needed. Loved being able to walk to dinner nearby and yet still feel secluded. We just left the car parked our whole visit. Proprietors at shops/eateries were all very friendly, but mostly we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine on the seawall / back deck / inside by the picture window. We also enjoyed evenings reading with a fire in the wood stove. Millennium Trail is only about 250 meters away and was perfect and easy to do a 10k run in the crisp fall air. "Little Ben" is about the size of a bunkie, more than enough space for the 2 of us, but outfitted with stylish comfort that has a sense of character in a hip but homey way. Actually, Wellington seems like it is home to a retired set director from a Wes Anderson film who dispenses free design advice around town. Amy's info was friendly & accurate.

Schoolhouse Loft - Centrally Located in the County

CassandraRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Lovely and bright place with lots of things to do within a very reasonable driving distance. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with coffee, tea, spices, etc. The shower is roomy and the soaps smell very good. Martha and Doug left us a bottle of wine from a local place that was delicious and a very nice surprise! We would happily stay here again.

A Sandbanks Retreat

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed at Michele's place with my family for a celebratory birthday weekend. We were out and about in the County for much of our time but we're so thrilled with this find. The house is beautiful, just like the pictures with a ton of space to hang out and everything you need. Nice bedrooms, thoughtful decor and although we didn't get to experience it due to the weather, super nice outdoor spaces both upstairs and downstairs. Michele was very responsive and helpful, made everything seamless. We hope to be back for a longer stay!

The Stone Cottage on Hay Bay

JenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Stone Cottage was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful! I almost wanted to lock myself in and never leave. The bed, pillows, duvet, extra blankets for couches, towels etc. were all super comfy and perfectly clean. The kitchen was more than fully stocked with just about everything you could ever think of or need - I highly recommend having a night in and cooking your own meals here. The shower and the bathroom soaps felt so luxurious. And for me one of the best features was the soft lighting - I loved the remote controlled candles in particular! (My husband clearly loved the bed the most as he slept for more than 12 hours straight in it!). If we ever need a weekend away or a place to stay between Toronto and Ottawa again, we will definitely go back. Thank you Alison and Chris!!

We had an exceptional experience at this place! The environment was tranquil and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with all the necessary instructions and even helping out when we encountered a minor hiccup with the fire. The adorable animals on the property were a delightful bonus, and we were even treated to some fresh duck eggs! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.

The Guesthouse at Cedarhaus, Bancroft

BraediRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A group of 8 of us had the most incredible weekend! The hosts were awesome, and we loved the added bonus of having breakfast ingredients already stocked! There was so much to do on the water as well as on land. The layout of the cottage was designed perfectly and optimized the space well so it never felt crammed. The place is very private, we basically had the whole lake to ourselves and was tucked away from the hosts so it was easy to forget they were attached to us. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a getaway retreat. Thanks again Daryl and Louisa!

Cozy cabin nestled among the trees

Colin And LisanneRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at Judith’s cabin. It was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. As hosts, Judith and Ryan provide everything guests need to have an enjoyable relaxing stay. We loved the layout of property with the cabin, outdoor bathroom (nicest one I’ve ever been in!) & shower, the fire pit and the enclosed gazebo (with lights!) which allowed to enjoy being outdoors and play games or have a meal even when it was raining. The cabin itself was so lovely & cozy and we appreciated all the extra little details. The private beach was serene and the hike to the waterfall was a highlight! We didn’t want to leave and would love to stay again!

The views were amazing with the big windows you can see the river through the entire cabin! Randy was more than accommodating when the airbnb we had rented in the area had fell through. Would definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends!

Tiny Home Retreat with Fire Pit and Hot Tub!

BrookeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a very cozy little house with clean, modern interior. My partner and I had a beautiful stay and felt right at home with the nice furnishings. I rented this airbnb primarily for the hot tub and fire pit, but we fell in love with the interior vibe as well! The hot tub is amazing with lots of different settings. The gas fire pit is easy to start up and creates a cozy outdoor environment. Bryan and Sam are perfect hosts; they are very organized, keep their place pristine, communicate effectively, and provide such a special and happy experience.

Can’t say enough about our stay at Donna’s . Unfortunately it was a stopover from Montreal to Huron county so we weren’t there for long. Every detail from the time we walked in to the time we left was fabulous. We had had a long day and upon entry the fireplace was on, music playing, snacks waiting for us and fabulous muffins for breakfast. Even enjoyed a nice cold cooler . We had two rescue dogs with us and Donna even went above and beyond for them as well. I am an Airbnb host as well and i would say that Donna’s warmth and friendliness rates her the best of the best. Would love to stay there again.

Peaceful Getaway

MelissaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Our stay at Nancy's was just what we needed after a long week in the Adirondacks. We chose this place for the location near the river and it helped cut our trip home to Pittsburgh down. The place is just as described and made even better with the simple touches and thoughtfulness that Nancy has put into the space. We landed for just one night and spent most of our time outside on the dock watching the beautiful river and natural surroundings. We saw many birds and a few beavers - while drinking our morning coffee a bald eagle gave us a show and made our trip end on a wonderful note :) I would recommend staying with Nancy to anyone who finds themselves in the area and wants a slice of comfort and nature to lodge in. On our way out of town, we went to a local diner that Nancy had recommended, Lakes Sweets and Treats for a delicious homestyle breakfast and made our way up to the country store from there to pick up a few local maple syrup bottles to gift our friends. Great time in Chaumont
