Long Hug Khao Phu Chi Fah, Yurt House

A great spot to visit the mountains of northern Thailand - magnificent view and great amenities. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. Price is well worth it for the location. The area is seasonal, so very quiet in low season so come prepared, but host will help you find what you need as best he can. We don’t speak Thai so signage from the road was a little difficult, but google maps took us right there easily

Long Hug Khao Phu Chi Fah Baan Dome

We are a couple, quite demanding, and we stayed 3 nights in this haven of peace. With the cabin open only to the view as a structure, not overlooked, an intimate and so charming moment in a magical environment. Locals will be there to welcome you, with disconcerting hospitality. It was the highlight of our trip (so far). If you're in Chiang Rai, rent a car and go straight there. Because afterwards, to go from one summit to another there will be no taxi in this area, and economically it is better. The accommodation is clean, charming, with breakfast being 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., do not hesitate to use translation apps to communicate with the locals. The small downsides, it's a little cool at night, so plan ahead, after that it's the mountains. And we were in low season, there was a couple who were in the bubble hut next door and we could hear each other a little anyway. We highly recommend it.

What a gorgeous place! We spent two weeks here at the beginning of a 3 month stay in Thailand and it was perfect. Rural location away from tourists but with coffee shops, restaurants and an excellent Sunday flea market all in walking distance (bikes also provided). The staff were so lovely and kept us topped up with eggs, lemons and fresh greens from the gardens. We didn’t get to meet Chu however he went above and beyond to help us - ordering items for our baby and also helping us to extend our visa. Would 100% recommend for a gorgeous, relaxing stay away from the crowds x

Longhak Khao Phu Chi Fah, bell tent

We booked the tent on the front row in order to see the sunrise with no blockings. Sadly realised we were facing north when it’s bright out lol. The host is so sweet to provide the free hot soup for us to warm up in a drizzly night. By the time we arrived it was already dark and cold outside. Be careful driving in the thick fogs. The view is definitely a must-try. Love the strawberries so much!
A series of stone and columnar structures line a pathway, each topped with decorative purple lamps. Lush greenery is visible in the background, providing a serene atmosphere.

Cozy home away from home in Sobbong with a very responsive, charming, and family-friendly host. Within walking distance of local town amenities including a 7-Eleven and Golden Bowl Coffee, an equally impressive 5-Star local café. 10 minutes from Tesco Lotus Chiang Kham, the area's largest supermarket, by car. Better than a five star hotel if you want support local Thai people, visit family in the area, and experience a truly idyllic homestay in an affluent local home.
A spacious outdoor balcony features two minimalist white chairs positioned to face a colorful sunset, with rolling mountains and a vast sky serving as the backdrop. Soft lighting strings are draped along the railing, enhancing the serene ambiance of the setting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wirakans place! It was super cosy and has spectacular views. We got upgraded to the VIP Dome and it was fantastic! Only downside is that the toilet flush didn’t seem to work but it we still managed with the bum gun. The host was very kind and even picked us up and drove us back to Chiang Rai for a small fee. We really enjoyed our stay but keep in mind that if you want to go to Phu Chi Fa you definitely need a car! Sadly we couldn’t see it due to a miscommunication with the host. All in all a great accommodation, would definitely recommend!😊
