Lunch and dinner are reservations only. Call and ask for Leatrice if you want top notch service. I suggest starting with Calamari followed by my fav, Lobster Ravioli.

Serving the finest Italian food in a vintage old home in the heart of Cookeville for over 18 years Mauricio's features an extensive menu of innovative dishes expertly prepared by our chef. If it's not on the menu they will do their best to create it for you! Due to our continuous growth and with our staffing needs, Starting on May 1, 2021 Mauricio’s is updating our reservations policy for dining-in and patio seating. With our limited seating capacity, we are now asking everyone to make reservations when dining in our restaurant. We are going to Reservations Only for both dine-in and for the patio. With this in mind, we continue to ensure our guests have plenty of time to enjoy themselves while dining with us like always. With reservations, everyone needs to understand that we will have a reservation following them and they will need to be aware of their time slot. For example, the following is a list of times for the number of guests. 1-3 guests 1.5 hours 4-7 guests 2 hours 8-12 guests 2.5 hours Our goal is still the same as always. We want our guests to have a dining experience and not be rushed. Our time slot has always been in place when our guests made reservations, we just want our guests to know and to encourage them to be on time so that we may better serve you. As before, if you let us know upon arrival, we are able to speed-up your service if you need us to. We also want our guests to understand if/when they make reservation on the patio that we do not control the weather or insects. You would be responsible to call us and change your reservation to inside dining. With that being said, we may or may not have availability for inside dining. If we do have availability, you would be moved inside. That would be a risk that you would take when reserving an outside table. We hope everyone understands that we can not reserve 2 tables, 1 outside and 1 inside, due to limited seating and having empty tables that another guest could enjoy. We hope everyone understands and most guests whom we have told already completely understands. We will continue to tell all our guests about the new Reservation Policy so that everyone is informed. We appreciate all our guests and we want to continue to provide a great dining experience. We are looking forward in seeing you soon.
