This is not in Beyoğlu. in Kadıköy; on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. A 2-storey detached Istanbul bar. An excellent bar with the best music in Istanbul (once only good things were played here). It's been there since 1996 and I spent my youth there :) if you're lucky, grab a place on the small, cozy balcony, put your feet up and have a beer under the tree. And don't forget to order “old fashioned”.

Alternative - İndie Music bar + live gigs of underground bands. If you are in Kadıköy. You should definitely visit there.

Barlar Sokağı is where usually university students hang out at night. There is live performances on Fridays and Saturdays. For those who prefer electronic music Karga Bar is a good choice.
