You can just enjoy the sights or for the more adventurous 4WD accross the dunes and drive to the Murray mouth. Great surf beach and surf lessons available at the beach

Goolwa Beach is a great surf beach for all levels from beginners looking for a shore break and white water to learn or the more experienced board rider who will paddle out back of the break to catch the bigger sets. If you have a 4WD you can drive down onto the beach and head towards the mouth of the Murray River. The local surf club and adjacent cafe offer meals and refreshments.
