Nature preserve, expansive area with beautiful views of nature. Cool place for Amarillo if you want to walk. Take the trail you can find a nice rock face and a view of the sunset.

If you want a feel for what hiking in the Texas Panhandle is like but don't want to make the drive out to Palo Duro Canyon, this place is less than 10 minutes away. Has great views.

This place has several miles of trails through ranch land. Entry fee is $4 per person and well worth the trip.
