A 20 minute drive to Maidenwell, you can enjoy a short walk to the local water hole at Coomba Falls, a popular cooling off place for locals in summer; pack a picnic and grab your swimmers, and join in the fun.

Great swimming hole and picnic area. On the way to the Bunya Mountains. There is a short walk from the car parking area down steps and walk ways to the water hole. Advised not to jump off the rocks into the hole as dangerous. No toilet amenities at the water hole.

Coomba Falls, at Maidenwell, is an exceptionally beautiful place, featuring a deep natural swimming hole and striking granite cliffs. The water is icy most of the year, so it's the ideal site to cool down on a hot day.

A great walk - not a long walk, but also not the easiest of walks. A great spot to go for a swim and explore nature.

Always a lovely spot to go for a swim! At the moment especially the water has been magic because of all the rain we've had. Pack and picnic lunch and head here for a few hours. Very enjoyable. There's a short walk down to the Falls from the carpark
