A well-established Paddington boutique with a Belgian aesthetic, they stock a range of local and international designers including Dries Van Noten and Rome-based Stella Jean. Every two months they invite emerging Australian designers—of jewellery, homewares, fashion, and more—for installations that showcase their range of work, which is then featured in-store. Poepke is on William Street, a cute one-way lane excellent for exploring. As well as clothing shops, you’ll find great coffee at local favourite Paddington Alimentari. It’s an Italian delicatessen nearby on Hopetoun Street.
