A heavenly arc of sand, edged by coastal bush. From Hideaway it's a gentle and flat 40 minute stroll to the end of Macrossan street to find bars, restaurants and gift shopping. Keep a lookout for crocs cruising along - we see them sometimes on our dog walks! You can also walk along to some of the resorts that back onto the beach and pop in for lunch or a drink without needing to see a car or a road.

Four Mile Beach is patrolled by Surf Lifesaving Queensland and during November–May, a stinger net swimming enclosure is in place to provide a safe swimming environment.
