If service at Sole and Osteria lacks some immediate friendliness sometimes, Gabriele Pavone, his two sons and the sworn-in team more than make up for that. Providing Koblenz with classic Italian fine quisine for decades, the place is not hip, some say it’s quite the opposite. I don’t mind. Expect no fancy-schmancy but service is outstanding, wines and dishes are of excellent quality and precision. Try their pasta from the Reggiano wheel, prepared at the table, the sea food or any of their fresh fish with light sauces. You won’t regret. (Might need an extra buck.)

Das ist ein wirklich klassisches, leckeres italienisches Restaurant in Familienhand. Tolle Gerichte und sehr guter Service. Die Lage lädt zu einen Spaziergang vom Appartement zum Restaurant ein.

Die Bedienung ist sehr herzlich, selbst gegen 22.00 Uhr bekommt man eine excellente italienische Küche.
