Great for hiking, especially near sunset. The mountains are awesome and the loop trail is easily accessible and walkable.

Short hike to see petroglyphs made by the Hohokum who inhabited this area 1000 years ago. About 1 mile in look up on the left wall. Trail is sandy. Cattle and Sheep Ranchers left the structural damns at the turn of the 19th century.

Just a 10 min drive away - 2 mile out and back hike to see petroglyphs. Or 1.75 mile loop trail with a slot canyon and beautiful hilltop views of the surrounding mountains.
