The extraordinary space of the former Kindl brewery in Berlin’s Neukölln district is now the site of the KINDL – Centre for Contemporary Art. Since October 2016, the KINDL has presented international contemporary art across three floors in the Power House and in the spectacular Boiler House with its twenty-metre-high ceiling. In 2014 the Boiler House was the first part of the building to open with the installation Kitfox Experimental, an airplane hanging vertically in the middle of the room, which was developed by the artist Roman Signer especially for this unconventional space.
