Ounasvaara is the best place in Rovaniemi for enjoying the nature. In summertime there are plenty of walking , hiking and biking paths, a disc hockey course and the bravehearted can try summer sledging or climbing in the trees. In wintertime you can do cross country skiing, downhill skiing or snowboarding, fat biking, snow shoe walking etc. There's also a bowling alley, gym and a spa that are open all year around.
