Apart from being a regular old country station, it also has a steam train that takes you to Maldon on wednesdays and Saturdays. Have lunch in this sweet little old gold town and wander around the shops before returning an hour later. (Or get one of your party to drive and pick you up in Maldon.)

Handy to get into Melbourne, or Bendigo, or the towns in between. Take the steam train from here to historic Maldon for lunch and antique shopping.
