Queenstown gardens is an ideal picnic spot set in landscaped gardens. Home to Queenstown's popular frisbee golf course.

Checking out the gardens is a must. It is practically in town and takes less than 30 min to tour the whole peninsula. (Don't miss the rose gardens in the center.) Have more time? It has a great FRISBEE GOLF COURSE. Borrow some of our discs, or rent some in town for cheap. TENNIS COURTS are also available for hire for a low price (including rackets). This is also a GREAT PLACE FOR A JOG. Inner and outer loop trails let you customize the length.

Hire a disc or buy your own at Small Planet and head down to the gardens for a round of disc golf. A free activity for all to enjoy. Best played in the summer months and you can walk around with a drink of your choice (beware - some days there are alcohol bans in town e.g around New Years). There are heaps of places with disc rental, just look out for the signs.
