Definitely do not miss an opportunity to catch a King Salmon in Ship Creek. The Bait Shack will set you up for success !

Even if you aren't interested in fishing - head down here to see Ship Creek, particularly when the salmon are running. You can walk all the way along the creek on the Ship Creek Trail. It's a little less popular than downtown, but worth the walk down the hill.
