I'd say this is probably my favorite park. It has a slight advantage over the State Park primarily because of it's proximity to Lakewood Beach House (only .7 miles), but also the feel is a bit more family oriented. It also has a great dune you can run up and down. Excellent playground for the kids. Plenty of picnic tables and grills so you can spend the whole day!

Another great location for beaches. It has great parking, restrooms and picnic areas. Costs: $7 for parking.

Nice public beach, sand volleyball courts, picnic tables, grills, large playground. You have to pay for parking though unless you park outside of the park on the street.
